Good, I hope this means we get even more turn-based RPGs again. I'm 100% fine with people enjoying the new action-oriented RPGs like Final Fantasy has become, but I love turn based so much more. I didn't like that it felt like there couldn't be both on the market. There is just something way more enjoyable to me about turn-based as opposed to mashing buttons and twitchy moves like I'm playing God of War.

The real answer is nothing, assuming they already had an Instagram account. People are all up in arms, but the majority of 'signups' were just people clicking the activation button as opposed to creating a new account.

That said, I currently will praise anything that takes more users away from Twitter. Lesser of two evils and all that.

This is digusting. I believe they are called x's now.

Now that is hilarious 🤣

Hot damn, this is the most satisfyingly hilarious pathetic thing I've ever seen. Musk has got to be the absolute richest moron on the entire planet, and possibly in all of reality itself. What the absolute hell is he thinking??? Is this some kind of 5-D chess thing where he is going to somehow get a payout for tearing it down Producers-style?

Wait, the Supreme Court doesn't just have carte blanche to do whatever the hell they want with no oversight?

Surprised Pikachu

I am curious why you think that? My reasons for liking it are the fact that it essentially just works, and gives me a consistent UI across multiple vehicles. What are your issues with it?

Is all of them a valid answer?

Seriously, why is it even a thing anymore? It's really sad that people are still even using the service. I understand the stories, because a train wreck is hard to turn away from, but why would you still want to be on board the train? Literally no one should be on that hellsite.

He defecated through a sunroof!

Cool, now both Lyft and Uber need a "no extra conversation" option too. I don't want to talk to the driver when I use rideshares, I hate the incessant small talk they want me to be a part of. I know some people might like it or at the very least not mind it, but I absolutely can't stand it 9 times out of 10. Give me the option to specifically not have it please.

I haven't had the issues with Google messages you cite, it's always worked reliably. I've used Pushbullet and MightySMS MightyText in the past, with MightySMS MightyText being the best I had used before Messages.

Who the hell is Tanya?

Nice! FFIV will always be my favorite, but 1 is an absolute classic.

Well it's Florida so he likely just clenched his nomination, and his election.

I was and used to watch the Diggnation podcast all the time. Loved Digg in its heyday, and it was sad when it went downhill. Reddit ended up being excellent though, and better than Digg ended up being. Sucks that it died too, but hopefully the Fediverse ends up finally being the chosen one.

Not a film, but wholeheartedly and agree.

Honestly it is so dystopian that we even have to have laws to require this kind of thing. It only makes sense to be able to replace failed parts instead of throwing out entire units or being required to have the manufacturer handle it.

In reality what happens is that devices with difficult or impossible to replace batteries end up getting thrown in the trash more often than anyone does anything else with them.

i love potato

Huh, for once I am siding with Apple. Weird feeling.

More mayhaves to add to the pile of nothing ever happens

lol, well in this case Google was wrong, the character's name is Usagi Tsukino. No idea where it would get Tanya from!

Looks nice! Will have to take a look, thanks!

Wow, was not aware although after just looking it up, evidently it is only for 'premium' rides and not standard. As if having someone not talk to you should cost extra. 🙄

Damn you for this comment.

I'm ready as soon as there is a copy of the vertical tab implementation from Edge. Until then, you'll have to pry Edge from my cold dead fingers.

I was looking for this, glad I found it. Bidets are life changing on a level that's honestly hard to describe. Basically, it's kind of like that super addictive game from S5E6 of Star Trek The Next Generation, except without the negatives. I've you start, you can't stop.

I highly recommend Cash App Taxes if you can believe it. I was skeptical but it was totally free both state and federal, whereas everywhere else appears to charge for state. Did mine last year and it was awesome, I previously was using TaxAct until they started increasing prices year after year and also kept getting worse at upselling for the state filing.

Yeah well, I will still blow into my NES games, no matter how many youtube videos and articles try to tell me that it's bad. It works and I've never had any ill effects and I've been doing it since the 80s.

Remember when there weren’t podcasts at all and you would have to get on a radio station to broadcast stuff?

Ah nice! Well just installed and I will give it a try then. Would really like to see Firefox adopt it too. I've looked into addons for Firefox to accomplish it, but none of them are as good as Edge (and now Brave's) implementation.

If you're talking an Android tablet/headunit, separate from Android Auto, that makes sense... But Android Auto is essentially a simplified interface for specific apps installed on your phone, and is generally quicker and safer than using the phone interface. No one here is arguing for a separate android console interface, so I'm not sure we're talking about the same things. The whole point of Android Auto is to take a separate interface and OS out of the equation and to allow you to use your phone as the brain.

The functionality of auto hiding the tabs when not in use and being visible when hovered over is the functionality I need. I might be lazy, but it's what I am looking for. I've tried all the ones I could for Firefox and none replicated that functionality sadly. Outside of that, I also want to be able to create web apps, which Firefox also did not support the last I checked.

Gimme some of those chicken planks, shrimp and fish and don't your dare skimp on the crunchies!
