Turns out recursive descent wasn't just a parsing technique

This. On r*ddit I used to upvote posts, and save really important ones to organise them. Maybe even some way to organize bookmarked posts.

Don't know if that's a client side thing or not.

A few channels that lie around a specific topics I can remember:

  • jc : A professor at IITK, has highly informational videos for aspiring students in the context of motivation and studying for examinations.
  • No boilerplate : Videos on increasing productivity and the occasional rustacean (programming) shilling.
  • Ryan Chapman : Mainly long format information rich video essays related to politics/political systems and how they came to be.

The topics they cover are highly specific and cater not that large an audience but the quality of the content is quite c.ommendable.

I might have not understood the exact use-case, but for using gifs or videos (via mpv) as a background there's XWinwrap.

There are probably better forks with more functionality

Duckdns is pretty much a service that offers free domain names.. that could point to any public IP. (I have seen setups where local IPs are used just for HTTPS). So its good for instances as HTTPS can be achieved without buying domain name.

Just a quick screenshare? Probably Screensy
