The article title makes it sound like they found them in a couch cushion. TL;DR The Greeks offered to sell the US 5k rounds to pass on to Ukraine.

Demographics. It may not be the case anymore but in the early days of the internet it was a majority American males. That trope has stuck around.

And statistically, vegans are roughly twice as likely to be women.

Delivery driver threw pizza at suspects during attempted carjacking

"your pizza delivery driver is probably the bravest guy in the world,” one resident said. “He deserves all the applause that he can get.”

No thanks to the worthless ass cops:

Middletown Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued until it reached New Haven. Once in New Haven, police said, the vehicle stopped and four people got out and fled. A police K9 track was conducted, but they did not find any suspects.

On the next page or two it goes on to say that whole story is probably fictitious and Bill was likely never there.

Edit: Found it (sorry for the fomatting)

Former FBI Director Louis Freeh submitted a report wherein he concluded that President Clinton “did not, in fact travel to, nor was he present on, Little St. James Island between January 1, 2001 and January 1, 2003.” Menninger Decl., Ex. C. Further, if any Secret Service agents had accompanied Clinton to that location, “they would have been required to make and file shift logs, travel vouchers, and related documentation relating to the visit,” and there was a “total absence” of any such documentation. Id. Remarkably, Plaintiff now even denies telling Churcher that she ever witnessed Ms. Maxwell flying President Clinton or his Secret Service anywhere, or joking with Clinton about “what a good job she did.” Menninger Decl., Ex. D. Plaintiff’s counsel remarkably instructed Plaintiff not to answer any additional questions about the other things Sharon Churcher inaccurately reported. Id. Lending even more incredulity to Plaintiff’s story, Ms. Maxwell only received her pilot’s license in mid-1999 casting insurmountable doubt that a recently retired president and his staff would be permitted to fly with her at the helm. With the record thus, Plaintiff’s claims about Clinton’s presence on the Island and the fully concocted story about the dinner party that occurred thereon totally debunked by the former head of the FBI and with Plaintiff now disclaiming she ever witnessed the Secret Service or Case 1:15-cv-07433-LAP Document 1320-28 Filed 01/03/24 Page 11 of 32 9 President Clinton being flown in a helicopter by Ghislaine Maxwell, the relevance of any testimony he might add (i.e., confirm that he was, as Louis Freeh determined, never on the Island) is non-existent. The only purpose for seeking this deposition is for the calculated media strategy that Plaintiff and her publicity-seeking attorneys have devised. Plaintiff failed to disclose President Clinton as a witness until June 1, failed to notice his deposition, failed to diligently pursue a subpoena on him and he has no relevant testimony to offer. Accordingly, Plaintiff’s leave to modify the scheduling order to permit his deposition should be denied

Refraction is a harsh mistress.

Cities can absolutely pass enforceable gun laws. She brought a firearm into a prohibited place, that's not a right.

And concealed carry should be exactly that. If people can easily see it, that's effectively brandishing (in areas without open carry). That was made abundantly clear at the CC class I attended. Now it's open carry here and doesn't matter.

Not so hot take: My time is finite, why force myself to see shitty facebook memes, dog pictures, crusty "battlestations", etc.?

Lol, you're getting salty at the people ordering pickup because you're being inconvenienced by the way the store handles it?

Yeah, blame the people, not the corporation. Good little consumer.

At a point the garbage to quality ratio gets too high to do that. Yeah, I'm sure some decent folks get blocked when you block a whole instance, but there's plenty of other people in non shithole instances to more than make up for it. I just use whichever method is most efficient at cleaning up my feed at the time.

but less attention has been paid to Trump’s decision to visit Palmetto State Armory, as opposed to any other gun store in South Carolina.

Palmetto State Armory is one of the largest online firearms manufacturer/retailer in the nation, much less South Carolina. And they produce all kinds of tacky crap with his name and face on it. So it doesn't surprise me he'd stop there. I'm betting it's more narcissism than a secret coded message.

In the song, it's a disease that causes people to get all stabby.

They are cheap and work decent most of the time. I have a few and don't have many complaints. But I also treat them as if they were publicly accessible. I hope someone got to watch my cats out in their catio and it made their day better.

I can understand people being scared of big dogs.

It wasn’t until after I realised that non-dog people would have shit themselves and shown fear. Which could have triggered the dog to attack.

So that's a well founded fear; no? IMO if your pet, regardless what it is, requires other people to know how to act to avoid being possibly mauled; it has absolutely no business being in public.

Hunter Biden was indicted on three felony gun charges, alleging that the younger Biden illegally purchased a gun while on drugs.

Do Republicans really want to open the Pandora's box of combing through firearms sales? Surely that leopard wouldn't turn on them.

Hunter owned an unloaded gun for 11 days

That kind of sounds like a straw purchase, and is something with a legal precedent. Why wouldn't they go for that?

Hell, they even published a book detailing their plans.

The book emphasizes that Russia must spread geopolitical anti-Americanism everywhere: "the main 'scapegoat' will be precisely the U.S."

Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke "Afro-American racists" to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics".[9] Aleksandr Dugin later recorded himself endorsing the presidency of Donald Trump in the 2016 election, expressing agreement with him and his proposed set of policies.
