The grift is 100% there but I think he does want to be president again because he believes that that will absolve all crimes.

Yeah. 2 things stop piracy, a fair price and quality content. We don't have either.

Chuck Feeney. He gave away everything to charities.

Edit: it was around 8bn.

My instance's owner has a Patreon. I give there. I definitely recommend that others do the same.

At 55 I wholeheartedly agree.

It's in the app store. You don't have to do that. If you're talking about the server, that's pretty easy.

Service providers in many countries are required by law to do this through DNS for years. The UK, Italy, Germany and Brazil are just a few that I've had personal experience with. Moving this to the browser really isn't necessary since there will always be easy ways around these types of blocks.

I'm not against it but what games are available on android? Everything I want to play is on Steam.

The guards those billionaires hire will be in good shape, especially after they kill the billionaires.

The only thing that's inaccurate about that sign is that the big lie is still hurting democracy.

For most things, Linux just works. There are specialized apps like cad packages, graphic design and such that are very problematic on Linux but most of it is fine. Just look at how successful Chromebooks are. They're all Linux.

Use Plex, and the *arr apps along with a usenet subscription. When I add something to my watchlist in Plex, it automatically downloads. It takes a little work to set up but it's pretty seamless.

Fine argument. Please also remember that militia in the context of the 2A references what is now the national guard.

I got a digital camera that only took blurry pictures. This was Merrill Lynch in the 2000's.

Not dead! I still have to work for 20 years before I can retire!

Was this for the CueCat? Because it sure sounds like that! Bravo!

Mr. Pibb needs to be one below Dr. Pepper. It's the knockoff but it's decent

Both.

I've never seen this before, but it looks straight forward to build. The inside dimensions are 4" x 6". You need a hydraulic press, and plate steel for the box and lid. The lid should fit smoothly in the top, it should all be about 3/4" to 1" thick. You can bolt together all the walls and base. The top should have a boss that meets the hydraulic ram.

Homebrew is a really good idea. You can get amazing results for relatively cheap investment. Take a look at the Robobrew and similar all in one kits. They're basically brew in a bag systems that work really well.

I totally agree with this approach. Web-DL is good enough for me, but cam is really a non-starter.

Doom is the reason why my brothers and I set up a lan at our parents' house. IPX over coax, and NE2000 network adapters.

Yes, exactly.

You've sent me down a nostalgia road with your mention of Populous. Here's what I found, and I'll be digging into tomorrow.

Definitely tent the meat for a few hours while cooking.

Most jobs I've had in the last 15 years have asked me if I want a Max or Windows PC. I've had Linux boxes at most of them as well, but not as the primary machine.

Ok, this should be pretty easy then. Just set up an instance in a cloud service provider (Oracle has lots of free stuff for this) and set up wireguard. Establish a VPN connection to your cloud server and port forward from there.

If you do know how to protect that open port then this should be pretty straightforward.

TAMU was an early one I used. There were lots that were one and done too so it's hard to keep track.

Seriously, what's the difference? If you are accessing and contributing to the same data pool, what's the difference besides the UI?

I haven't used kbin, so I haven't seen the difference yet.

During setup, tell it you want to join a domain. This brings you to local account creation. Way easier than what the article says. They keep moving that around to make it harder to find though.

I have to walk down to my basement office. It's rough, sometimes there's traffic as a cat might be walking down too. They like to stop and slow things down.

My pixel 5 has the screen separate from the body. I went ahead and got a 7 pro as an upgrade. I've had the original pixel, the pixel 3 and the 5. I seem to be skipping the even ones.

I'll take things to avoid for $1000 Alex.

If your computing needs are light, you can definitely use a steam deck as a laptop, but while traveling it won't be a great experience for general computing. As a game system, it's amazing. I absolutely love my deck.

I get up, let out the dogs & chickens. Bring the dogs back in & feed the cats and dogs. I have coffee, then I go to my office. I've been working from home since 2010 and I'll never go back to an office situation.

Edit: New England, in the US

Thanks!

Was it goatse? Please tell me it's not goatse.

HP is just the poster child but lots of the manufacturers are scummy.

I use portainer, and when I deploy an image, I write a short bash script for it.

  • stop the image if running
  • pull the image
  • run the image

This lets me easily do updates. I have a script for each image I run, it's less than a dozen. They're all from public repositories.
