They are using the term "white nose podcast" as an (intentionally oversimplified) term to include all podcasts that people use as a background soundscape. This includes sounds of nature, cafes, etc.

I had no idea Cloudflare was combating parent trolls!

It looks like they misunderstand how to improve their SEO ranking

In fact, on Tuesday, Google's SearchLiaison X account tweeted, "Are you deleting content from your site because you somehow believe Google doesn't like "old" content? That's not a thing! Our guidance doesn't encourage this. Older content can still be helpful, too. Learn more about creating helpful content."

I wonder if 100k per day is more or less than the average daily profits they make in Norway (population 5.4 million people)

You missed out on some nice tea and biscuits

That seems slightly hyperbolic

What would you tax exactly? Robots don't earn an income and don't inherently make a profit. You could tax a company or owner who profits off of robots and/or sells their labor.

Just imagine controlling the drone and thinking that this is ok

I use the subscription feed and use the notification bell for my favorite channels. I don't have notifications turned on for YouTube, but it does show in the top right corner of YouTube itself.

I don't always feel like watching everything I'm subscribed to, so this gives me a kind of "favorites of favorites" feed.

The ending of se7en makes no sense. All the previous victims were murdered because they suffered from one of the seven deadly sins (gluttony, sloth, greed, lust, pride). But the final two victims - that supposedly would complete the list - did not suffer from these sins, but instead the perpetrators murdered them out of envy and wrath. Gwyneth did not suffer from envy, and Brad did not get murdered for his wrath.

Such a shame because the rest of the movie is great.

Yes, 1,2 and 5 look too much like a windows background. I think this one is unique and still clean and calm.

Keep trying, don't be afraid to fail, don't be afraid to look stupid.

I understood that you cannot view, edit, or delete posts and comments from communities that are set to private. So if you run shreddit and a community later becomes public again, your posts can resurface.

Thanks dirty looking the original article, that was a great read!

I've accidentally had my git config set to rebase at my work. Every git pull merge dragged me into some conflict hell.

I'm still interested and will read this article, mainly to see if there is a way to use it if the rest of the department isn't.

I thought the exact same thing this morning when the NL alert had a Twitter reference in it

That's really interesting! The ending is famous and otherwise well regarded, so the director probably made a good decision - even though I will always disagree :)

Yeah me too. I don't want to see shorts on my subscriptions page

I used shreddit.com. It took a few goes to delete everything, and I'm checking in a few days to make sure it stays deleted.

Why the resentment? There are obviously many career paths, and these can be just as fulfilling, challenging, technical and effective as any other (if done right).

How is he supporting her role as judge?

I'm not sure if you're being purposely obtuse, nowhere did he say "the older the judge, they better".

2 more...

See, you're doing it again. Just because he is ok with some older judges, you've drawn the conclusion that he supports this judge - despite the fact that he clearly stated he didn't. That's not "contextual clues", but just reading what you want to read.

It was autocorrect

He literally says:

Very rarely does it rise to the level of publis inquest and a forced competency exam.

This time it seems it did, and look! It's happening. What's the real problem? Why is throwing the baby out with the bath water seen as a legit solution?

He states that it went wrong this time and that the system in place is correcting the problem. How is that in support of the judge?
