You are omitting the lede. Public appetite for failure on tax payer funds is near zero. That increases time, complexity, and cost for launches (with or without humans aboard).

You don't need to justify a purchase! If you like the product, paying for it is ge best way to ensure it stays around.

They're cranking the bad PR to 11 so they can dial it back to 9 and point to it as a compromise.

What a shit clickbait headline. They are removing inactive accounts not old content.

Over half my feed is just low effort memes or auto posted arstechnica articles. Does this data include bot posts?

Didn't they originally try to brush this off as credential stuffing and aggregation?

There should be harsher penalties around mishandling people's data, especially if you lie about it to save face.

Isn't it possible to allow-list certain numbers?

Guess we're done here folks. This guy says it's not a problem so it must not be!

An open call for sustainability is the opposite of that isn't it?

It's be easier to count the ones they haven't gotten, on one hand.

A lot of people didn't, but their relatives did and now theyre implicated.

Seems genuine to me. Why are you being a prick while adding nothing to the discussion?

You leave the game open in the background too often 😁

I like to think of CEOs as defense attorneys. They aren't saying what they believe or know to be true, they are saying what their job requires them to do.

I agree, I get excited seeing one comment in some of the smaller communities and then it's always that awful tldr bot.

The automatic bot posts need to go away as well imo.

Tell me more about loves knob 😍

The band is a NATO strap, pretty standard across the board.

Am I supposed to trust the company to correctly define 'essential?' Seems easy to weasel around and makes me nervous.

How wide we talking here?

What lessons have you learned so far? I've switched to FF and DDG with great results, but still use Gmail/android/photos.

Amazon (and I'm sure others) refers to this as a two way door. Good rollouts minimize impact and can be undone easily.

I believe podcast advertising is way down across the industry.

That's all of us here 😂

Is this a third party cookie?

I'm doing the same, but must admit it feels fruitless sometimes. 99% of people will just lap up whatever shit is fed to them and ask for seconds.

Amazon has a serious customer trust issue. Their reviews are fake, their prices aren't competitive, their shipping promise is routinely broken, and you will likely receive a counterfeit product.

Do not order tech products from Amazon. Co-inventory means you will get whatever item the picker picks, not the store you order from.

Because 25% of your uncles DNA is the same as yours.

They commonly don't reflect the actual price at checkout. It's difficult for consumers to track and catch, and be if apathy (they didn't get around to changing the prices which are sometimes volatile) or malevolence, it's still an issue.

Because they make more than 18 billion off of it.

Bought some plant stuff for the wifes bday and the company name on Amazon was XXXtenacion...wtf does that even mean? Why xxx? I don't know, but there are thousands of these ai generated/poorly translated brandings going on.

Are there any examples of 'for the kids' legislation that isn't just something like backdoor encryption masquerading as protecting the young?

You are right! I double checked it's XXXFlower, not the rapper :)

Don't worry, they havent made a game worth playing yet.

Science IS political, at all levels. You can't compete without funding and your institutions will pressure you to perform a certain way.

The owner is a problem though.

Car TOCs here already include consent for any passenger...insane.

Same reason they're investing in sports and every other market, they know oil is limited.

Your comment has a huge asterisk next to every point: for now*

Mp3 players, gps, and rollodexes all were superior until they weren't. Now they are trivial components of something we carry everywhere all the time.

The same is true of current solar capabilities. The future is multifaceted and we get there sooner when people try.
