I mean, yes? Here's another photo from the same shoot posted on their Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CVQzDKmhVxN/?igsh=MTl1N25xemZhN3hwMw==

This is it! Old water coolers

He actually is pretty heavyset in his role in The Exorcism, which just came out. I don't know if it was intentional but it certainly fits with his character in the film.

Not opposed to this, but why do I want this?

I suppose many responsive sites have a maximum content width that is admittedly a lot smaller than many displays these days. I guess this lets you use a couple more pixels of vertical space by trading the wasted horizontal space.

Nice, that's a good point! I didn't think of that.

Not really on board with pageants but congrats to her.

I will say I kinda like it when the QR code allows you to order directly to your table. It's nice to not have to talk to the server if you don't want to and it makes splitting the bill a non-issue.

Wow this is unethical. They should all be separate toggles.

Bawling my eyes out for Edward. Honestly makes me sick. It's okay to be gay or not straight or anything in between.

Someone posted about Americans being able to drive for like 13 hours in Texas and still be in Texas. The punchline was that Europeans can't comprehend it. Then a bunch of euro memes came out showing similar distances in Europe.

Perhaps related, there was a news post today about an effort to develop a standardized system for time on the moon.

First three search queries I did had zero results. Seems cool but not enough stuff indexed, I guess.

I think he wanted to go to prison. My theory is that he didn't get the clout/infamy that he wanted from the murder, which is why he confessed and does not have an attorney.

I'm not sure what the exact origin is, but trans girls drinking monster is a meme. There's also the whole NSFW Astolfo monster thing.

I am gay. I have a gay friend who uses that term in a "taking it back" sense.

I love my friend and respect him but it hurts so bad it's to hear that. It's honestly triggering to me because it reminds me of middle and high school.

I wish he wouldn't use that term but maybe it is okay if we really are taking it back.

I have talked to some elder gays who seem to feel the same way about other terms like "lesbian" so maybe it really is a generational aversion to the slur of the time.

I don't like feeling genuinely upset but I am willing to endure it if it means progression for LGBTQIA+ ppl.

Anyone who has a thought about this pls reply. Would really love to hear non-straight folks opinions on it, but even willing to hear straight folks opinions as long as they are respectful and non-violent. ♥️

Many locals choose to just call it "National Airport" for this reason

I have gamepass and I'm happy with it. I tend to dabble in a lot of games instead of playing one game for a long time.

One new game costs $60 to purchase. For me personally there is little chance I will be playing it 4 months from now.

Alternatively I can pay for gamepass and play any of those games for $15 a month. The only situation where this ends up being a worse deal is if I only play one game for more than four months, which so far has not happened for me.

I realize that doesn't make sense for everyone, though.

I wasn't aware that prison sentences commonly included death from chemical ingestion

Lots of ways to track besides cookies. There are many ways you can fingerprint a user. It's actually pretty hard to not have a unique fingerprint on the Internet.

I still luckily have a nice group of friends using Signal but I agree that dropping SMS support was a mistake. There was a good issue explaining why dropping SMS support was bad on their GitHub: https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/issues/12560

False confessions are shockingly common. The Innocence Project does a lot of good work exonerating people who were wrongfully convicted: https://innocenceproject.org/false-confessions/

Here's some more info on false confessions: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_confession

Yes

Couldn't we just count the stories from the outside?

Yeah I saw this news today and literally don't even understand how it affects me. I don't know what the difference is between Wallet and Pay.

Cis simply means you identify with your gender assigned at birth; it doesn't really impact your sexuality. For example, you could be a cis gay man, which is not straight.

Best purchase I ever made. Can't believe I lived without one before. America needs more bidets.

What OP is suggesting is actually in that Wikipedia article. Apparently it's called "Baltimore Stockbroker / Psychic Sports Picks".

There are plenty of cis women who don't have periods. It's not a defining factor and you're still a woman even if you don't have a period.

izutsumi 😻

No small taskbar icons option was bothersome for me. Have to deal with it on my work PC. So much lost screen space 😭

Yeah I get the kanopy streaming service through my local library. It's awesome.

We say CHA in my D&D group when talking about the stat, but I'm gonna start saying rizz at the table and see how people react.

Eh, many people use computers but are not the ones who installed the operating system (e.g. work, school, library, etc.). I think it's likely more accessible to be able to enable the feature at any time, if needed. In my experience pressing shift five times generally only happens to me when playing games. I don't know how often it pops with normal web browsing, email, etc.

Any idea what happens to the money if I purchase this?

It is almost certainly illegal under the computer fraud and abuse act. Don't hack, kiddos.

Sometimes true, sometimes not.

In some situations I feel like there's some validity to not answering the question and saying what someone should do instead. Like, for example, if someone asked me how to bypass a security mechanism I don't think it would be wrong to say they shouldn't do that and not provide instructions for how to do so. Further, you might even argue that it's unethical for me to provide guidance that I know (or believe) is wrong.

This is why a root cause analysis is so important. I feel like often in those situations, the problem trying to be solved is really a symptom of the issue as opposed to the actual issue.

Two people who share bedroom can use bathrooms at the same time

Yeah I'd rather not be making regedits and of course can't even do that on a work device.
