She/Her

It's possible to adjust it so you have three little buttons but you can also use gestures from those buttons. Not the sides. I used to use that setup for a long time but know I'm just using the regular gestures for now. By the way I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S20.

As a wheelchair user I absolutely hate when people do this! I ended up forced to go around the back of the car which is way less safe.

Modern cell phones. It's crazy that I basically never need a computer now. My phone is so diversely useful. I spend more money on phones than computers now. It's also the best camera I've ever had! Phones are just so cool lol.

I think it's on the roadmap for Jerboa, but the first and only app so far to implement mod tools is Summit for Lemmy

On Sync you can block whole instances. I found that very helpful.

Sync for lemmy let's you do this.

My spouse, and child, who make my life feel valid, needed, and loved. Thanks to them and their constant encouragement I have a life worth living. 💜

I've been on quite a few. But I mostly was on lemmy.world but their reliability is low. So I switched to Lemmy.ca who federated with basically everyone. Unlike World. I was on .ml for a while too but left for some reason. I'm also on Beehaw, I like it over there but it'll never be my home instance mostly because you can't create communities and they don't federate with most of the ones I like. Being on Lemmy.ca allows me to interact with World and Beehaw from one account which is really nice. They also have really high up time!

Isn't this just Google Earth but with less features?

The Liftoff app is good and basically does this.

It also allows easier jumpstarting if it needs it.

I can't recommend Daylio enough! It's an app that's constantly getting new features. It's very customizable! You can make goals and custom moods which both help me a lot. You can also set reminders to do goals or just to make a daily entry. And all your data is stored locally unless you want to backup up to drive. Which is pretty secure. I think I also read that the backup is encrypted but I could be wrong. You can also manually backup and encrypt it then.

If I'm not mistaken they also run other software too? I just can't think of what else. Definitely both Lemmy and Mastodon. Pretty cool really.

Also Summit for Lemmy can do this too.

Easy, tap the 3 dots on a post and select filter. Then select the instance. Or

Settings shortcut: Filters > Instance filters

Mine is also manual, with a push assist(smart drive) its MSRP is 16k!

The software is also really stupid, you have to use a stupid smart watch to control it! You can get other controls(for some functions only) but they didn't come with the chair without additional costs. The smart watch sucks and my better watch which is also WearOS can't download the app from the store for some reason... I'd much rather be able to just connect my phone directly.

Just to add to this, here's the link.

Federation is a bit weird sometimes. Edits, deletions, and mod actions don't always federate very quickly or even at all sometimes.

I've been using Folder sync it seems to work pretty well, though I'm thinking about looking for something FOSS.

It's apparently very hot where you live! Just 80s here.

To be calm. I'm in a constant state of panic. I don't know what to do because the pills aren't really working... I have awfully bad anxiety.

I don't know if that's really on Jerboas road map. You might want to look at some of the other apps that already include such features. The one I am using right now allows that and has a bunch of other great features, like multies and mod actions.

Here's a link if you're interested. Summit for Lemmy

that is crazy lol.

I personally use sports bras with breastforms in the pad pockets. I think it's the best solution for me personally.

That makes sense too. I have a backup of the working APK and backups of my stuff that I can access with or without the app. But for now this app is being actively developed and I've been using it for years. I'll probably keep using it until it stops getting updates if that happens.

I like it but it's very hard for me to type this lol

you can use this? Like as a primary keyboard? It's cool though!

These tips are very helpful! Thanks. Any others?

What's the advantage of self hosting Matrix?

That's basically the only reason I'm not on there.

Sorry. I should have specified.

Looking at you Roku... they're at the top of my list for some reason. I have two TVs.

Besides piracy, you can also find modded versions of apps, they basically unlock all pro features and often add more. I know I have a Spotify app, but it's really old. Still works though.

It's not a perfect solution but smart drive works really well for me. It's very customizable.

You can block instance on Sync

Sorry. I eventually edited my post. But edits don't federate well for some reason. How do you get swipe on openboard?

Interesting. I'll have to take a look at that!

Interesting. I assumed it was an Android feature rather than Samsung.
