Yup that's what I've also been thinking. I just have to upgrade because my current phone doesn't support 5g and a Black Friday like festival sale is around the corner at where I live. Had made up my mind to buy S23 but they didn't slash prices enough this year because of the launch of FE, which is a big turn off.

Return policies suck at where I live so that's not really an option for me. What pixel model have you been using and how is the battery life?

I mean its search is limited to finding communities and we can't really search for posts, users or comments using keywords. Sadly, among FOSS apps only eternity has a decent search functionality but it's still under development and lil buggy. Liftoff does categorize searches but doesn't have the functionality of searching within communities. So far only Boost, Sync and Connect seem to have it and none of them is open source.

Tbh there's some festival around the corner during which the prices are meant to be at the lowest but right before it Samsung came up with this pooper FE and ruined my plans, else S23 was meant to go at the price that FE would be sold at as they'd deliberately not slash its price much now cuz that might hamper the sales of FE.

Budget is around 450 USD, what do you think about S6 lite ? I have never bought a tab in my life and don't trust those paid yt mfs.

It should just be able to handle moderate gaming and multitasking apart from note taking. I don't take notes but gonna start as I have to prepare for some examination and I'd want one that lets me scribble over it. I don't even know what difference does it make for it to be a deal-breaker.
