I think a large part was:

  • it's a fork of infinity so it will likely diverge in looks/functionally

  • it's a different developer than Infinity

The best reasoning I saw for this change was for clarity for non native English speakers. If you're learning the language "allowlist" is definitely more clear in meaning than "whitelist"

Hoping for a sale on Tunic. I picked it up on my Switch but honestly have been far happier with Deck performance of games I have on both platforms that I'd rather go through it on the Deck

I just removed Windows from my desktop and went straight Linux after seeing how well things ran on my Deck.

We had a guy in an interview a month or two back who managed to bring up Musk and refer to himself as a "fanboy", I was kinda shocked to find one "in person"

Niagara Launcher, fishicons icons

I like the look of Liftoff but doesn't seem to let you hide posts that you've read (maybe I'm just missing it). For now sticking with Connect

I upvote just to mark as read without having to open comments...

I was also shocked how much worse dead cells performed on the switch, kinda made me decide to stick with pc/deck for non exclusives now

I finally got D5 on everyone a few weeks ago, then more new characters so the addiction resumes

Another second for Fen, switched to it a few months ago and it's been a smoother experience

https://store.steampowered.com/app/553420/TUNIC/ looks like our wish was granted :D

I noticed lots more "stutters" at random times than I ever saw on PC / Steam Deck. I moved it to onboard storage and that helped some but still played better on the Deck

Same, provided I'm playing at home with wifi haha, otherwise I think Brotato has made a large dent in my Deck time
