Or using i2p

you could use tor project to surf the internet and i2p or i2pd for bittorrent

I know you are asking for cs 1.6, but do you know counter strike 2 is free on steam and have compatibility with Linux?

Caring is sharing, it is not a crime to share things unless there is an economic profit

Why put a limit? Just infinite forever unless you have a cap in your connection.

Debian 12 with your favorite DE, I use XFCE

You could install a tor relay or i2p

No need of a VPN or pay anything to protect yourself.

Not for China. For example nytimes.

On i2p everyone is a node but not everyone is an outproxy to the clearnet, you have to enable it manually.

I think your program is calibre

Samsung galaxy A15 5G, Cheap phone (~180$), micro-sd, headphone jack, good software support (4 OS updates, 5 years security updates), good battery, 1080p amoled 90Hz 800 nits.

eMule/aMule/Mldonkey works like old limewire, it is from the same age, but still kicking

It's just Germany, the rest of Europe (EU and non-EU) doesn't actively care about them unless it's cp.

This is the MINIMUM: OS: Ubuntu 20.04 Processor: 4 hardware CPU threads - Intel® Core™ i5 750 or higher Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: AMD GCN+ or NVIDIA Kepler+ with up-to-date Vulkan drivers. Support for VK_EXT_graphics_pipeline_library highly recommended. Storage: 85 GB available space Sound Card: Highly recommended

You should try with your CPU and GPU

For p2p it is better to use i2p, not tor

I know you are asking for a VPN, but you could give a try i2p for bittorrent it is free and secure. And if you want just DDL, you have Tor.

Nope, torrent and ed2k/kad networks are

I recommend debian 12 works like charm

It's still my favorite network (using it from more 20 years ago), but for the latest things I use bittorrent and seed to both networks (bittorrent and ed2k/kad) through mldonkey 24/7.

A tor guard/middle relay or bridge/snowflake and i2pd node.

You could use i2p for torrent it is free and secure, but slow

Better, because it is free and secure. And at same time you are torrenting, you are helping the network. But a downside, it is the speed and amount of peers you find is less compared to the clearnet. Also it is not the best option to surf the clearnet, tor is better at this.

You could use i2p for bittorrent, it is free, slower but secure.

I am still seeding movies from rarbg

Me too, I have running a tor snowflake and i2pd instance on the same server I am seeding.

you could try to use i2pd or i2p for bittorrent with BiblgyBT or qbittorrent 4.6RC and above, there is a few decent public trackers on i2p.

On ed2k/kad network you have some!

Tor bridge/relay and i2p node

Plex for movies/shows. For music spotify premium.

In my servers I use debian 12, but I think a good balance (stability & up to date packages) would be linux mint in my opinion.

You can still use ed2k/kad network, it works fine.

You could try on ed2k/kad network through emule/amule/mldonkey there is a good comunity

Maybe you could try ed2k/kad (emule/amule/mldonkey), soulseek or dc++ networks. Just drop the files in the sharing folders and seed. My preference is ed2k/kad.

Then samsung galaxy a35.

Samsung phones nowadays are one of the best software support on every budget, starting with the A15 4G (~150€) with 5 years to the flagship, S24 ultra with 7 years.

Just look for a NUC with an Intel N100 with passive cooling.

For me it's fine for tv shows & movies. I also use ed2k/kad network.
