I agree. Although there's quite a lot of tankies around there. It would result in a giant cesspool, especially since lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.ml are huge.

Well, I'm not American, but it does look like politics are mainly driven by narrative and emotions and not... the other stuff.
There's one singular social-democrat party in Poland and it's being branded "hardcore left", "communist" and even "bolshevik" so it's not just US. Truth be told, Poland has always played a racoon role - stealing ideas, but just from the trash. We are dangerously close to the two party system, too.
Fuck me.
