Eh, that's what India is for.

I did that a bit ago. Most were still dark.

I admit to morbid curiosity. Browser, cleaned of cookies and poking around. It's pretty sad.

I guess I'm all 3. I'm 39, tech enthusiast (tho I've long since given up on working in the industry), and have been using and occasionally contributing to the Linux community since the mid-90s.

My husband is afaik, still just on reddit. idk if he's moved to the official app on his phone (he was a rif guy for years) or what he's doing tbh. But, he's not really a geek 😁

Yeah. We had our boys in our early 20s. To say we grew up with them is to be honest. But I sure wouldn't change a damned thing.

Yup. Every once in a blue moon I wish I still had my Twitter. But not enough to make a new one.

Hahaha, it's an interesting point. Myspace does still exist. But it's a shell of it's former self. We can only hope that someday reddit will be too.

Eh, idk about that. Matrix has been around for a few years now, and I don't think it's going anywhere. Now, is it likely to ever be as big as Twitter/Facebook/reddit? Probably not. But, I'm not sure that was ever really the goal either.

Same. I actually have a family account, which has been an absolute blessing with kids. They know their own passwords now and no longer come to me wanting/needing to know their password for Xbox/Gmail/playstation/whatever everyother damned day. Also, if they need to know the Netflix password, they can check it too, because that's shared with them. It's brilliant. I'm honestly not sure how I lived without bittwarden.

Great. Try 32mbps in 2023, with 3-5+ people streaming off it, and/or gaming on it, at once.

I do it too. I do it because our internet sucks and bandwidth is precious. 4k makes everything stutter. Especially if you have more than one thing in the house streaming at once.

Honestly that's why we joined Cinemarks club. You get a ticket a month, plus another one for $1.99, and then as many more as you like for $9.99. with no fees. And you get discounts on snacks and drinks.

Yup. I get it too. 'We'll lock down and get rid of the 3rd party apps, just give us a couple of months.'

Yeah. I tried to register at beehaw a couple of days ago... Without success:(

Yeah. As a project, it requires input from users, not just a company.

Yeah. What the morning will bring is a different thing.

Yes. And so am I. Deal with it.

Jealous. N64 is the only retro console I always wanted and never managed to collect. I have NES, SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, but never managed to get a n64.

This is absolutely true. There are often calls for 'anyone want to mod' on even smaller subs... and you know, it sounds fun to a lot of folks at first. But if you've ever actualy been a mod, even of a smaller community online? It loses its appeal very quickly.
