Just the usual whining from corps isnt it

Thats what you get when you dare to do gardening

Tbh i never found an app that runs better on snap than on deb

Same goes for almost anything like snap

There should be more education on the difference between "privacy being available if you look for it" VS "privacy being ensured since the beginning and forever no matter what"

Spoiler: the last one does not exists

That crackling sound you had on your calls back in the analogic era. Not sure is a feature but made calls more warm.

No pale idea, i hope it goes well for the dev but i think he is ok if he takes it down

Right! I forgot! I am running KDE Plasma on Wayland, just plain KWin with carefully selected decorations and a personal modification of one of the various Aura themes (I chose a random one then I go heavy on customizations)

The panel and dock are latte-dock :)

Wow I am fascinated a lot by the radio's world, especially pre-digital era. Hope to never meet me irl or i'll ask questions for a couple of hours lel

Will do, thanks! The main reason is to solve the following "problem": in a decentralized protocol like ActivityPub I (personally) find very weird that accounts are bound to a central instance. I have like 6 "thecookingsenpai" accounts across instances (I of course use only one of them but you get the idea) and if by disgrace lemmy.world collapses overnight I could not log in with my account elsewhere.

Literallly Cloudpunk irl

Congrats King, live your best life and bring a smile everywhere you go

Rumors are there is a special place in the after life only for Bills

Shame on me haha :) Unfortunately I need to have all the possible speed and ease of use for VSCode specifically but I am not worried about telemetry (I have my blockers and things like that), yes is bloated af tho ^^'

Anyway, I have no conky installed ;) Just pure and simple Plasma widgets and font customization!

Haha I get you. My previous one (posted on this community) was very vaporwave styled

You would be surprised, this is (quite modified) Ubuntu

EDIT: Thanks for reminding me to change that icon

No.

Thanks for sharing!

Would you agree that the entry could be like:

"000002": { "diagnosis": "ADHD", "treatment": [""], "age": "", "years_in_treatment": "", "remaining_symptoms": [ "excessive talking", "hyperfocus", "rotating interest", "doom scrolling" ], "attention_span": "", "record_date": "31/05/2024" }

? For statistics purpose of course, as stated in the post. Also feel free to (or to do not, is just a little interesting game) fill the rest of the details :)

I have a plethora of oddities but no static vision (sometimes a buzz in the ear but like a strong buzz, rarely btw). No tinnitus or at least I think so, maybe i am just used

Well, as a non-native I may have used the wrong word. I meant: I care about getting things done quickly, without some extension not working or behaving weirdly because I built it in the slightest wrong way due to some unknown bug or problem. I love and prefer to tinker with all of my software stack except vscode: I tried VSCodium once and I don't know why, but many of the plugins I needed didn't work properly. Surely it is my fault, but I am not in a position to invest time in such a fundamental working tool (at least for me).

On a note: I even had problems with Cursor, the AI-powered fork of VSCodium. Looks like VSCode is helding me hostage

Woah, nope. Thanks, digging in it!

That post tho

thanks a lot for the details! Inserted as 000002 :)

The below comment by @epyon22@programming.dev says it all, congrats

Thanks, a lot of useful infos!

If you have time and if you want, could you please tell me if this entry works?

Also I avoided the "remaining_symptoms" part as I did not fully grasped which ailments are still a problem, and which are new

I think I might have also got the age wrong but is not necessary if you don't want to share too many personal info :)

"000004": { "diagnosis": "AuDHD", "treatment": ["Vyvanse"], "age": "24", "years_in_treatment": "4", "remaining_symptoms": [ "" ], "attention_span": "", "record_date": "31/05/2024" }

You would be surprised in finding out that the majority of blockchains out there aren't Quantum resistant, tho (elliptic curves being the reason mainly but I am not an expert)

True, I just wanted to be more generic before going technical (this is very vague from a tech point of view so i was testing how the idea could be reacted)

Will add, you are totally right

My account https://lemmy.world/u/thecookingsenpai is not the same as https://lemmy.ml/u/thecookingsenpai or any other instance. Thus, each account is bound to the instance it was created on, although it can interact with other instances

(aka if lemmy.today disappears you would have no account to log in with)

Maybe is because I am not native but I did not get it

Like, to me looks like a further reason to transition to a serverless authentication

I See You're a Man of Culture as Well

at least it tries to make me have a routine

{ "diagnosis": "ADHD", "treatment": ["lisdexamfetamine ", "sertraline"], "age": "43", "years_in_treatment": "25", "remaining_symptoms": [ "fidgeting", "hyperfixations", "hyperfocus","executive dysfunction","interm memory disorder","depression","racing thoughts" ], "attention_span": "45", "record_date": "31/05/2024" }

Super useful insight and thanks a lot taking time to compile the statistics! Inserted :) Also, I agree medication is not the holy grail and that's why I am compiling this for-fun statistic: while awareness has increased, ADHD is still way misunderstood often

Hahaha let me try to compile a draft, is still a very useful report

Maybe if you have time and you don't forget about it (would understand), tomorrow you will be more prone to complete the missing parts :)

Thank you anyway!

"00000X": { "diagnosis": "ADHD", "treatment": ["stimulants"], "age": "", "years_in_treatment": "", "remaining_symptoms": [ "?" ], "attention_span": "", "record_date": "31/05/2024" }
