What frustrates the hell out of me is that these warning flags are being raised in opinion sections and not in main articles in news outlets. It also frustrates me that local news outlets, where a vast majority of people throughout America still get their news, has not been covering this at all.

I got my Framework 13 in February 2022 and I love it. I'll end up getting the AMD mainboard when it becomes more widely available, then take my old mainboard and RAM, put them in an enclosure, and make that my new NAS. Then my current NAS, which is just a Raspberry Pi, I'll turn that into a PiHole.

What about Biden is bad exactly? Yeah, he's old. Yeah, he has the exact same position on Israel as literally every US president since its inception. But what about Biden makes him not "good" in your eyes?

I support Biden not because he's an anti-Trump, but because he's a genuinely good man who gets things done. He knows how to work the system and gets results.

Cars. Some people like to talk about how sturdy cars used to be, but with all of the advancements in safety, if I were in a head-on collision between an old Plymouth and a Toyota Prius, I'd much rather be in the Prius.

Fedora does the same thing where you can choose between RPM or Flatpak. The only flatpak package I've ever had problems with was OnlyOffice, and the issue was that the scaling was blown way out of proportions. Switching to the RPM version resolved that.

This is what I really like about my RAV4: the touchscreen is just for controlling CarPlay/Android Auto and system settings that you don't change while driving anyway. There are physical controls for everything else, including the radio.

My wife's Jeep Latitude, on the other hand, is a mess. Things like the seat warmers, heated steering wheel controls, and the climate control vents are only on the touchscreen and it's super laggy. Trying to change any of that while driving is very risky.

Gosh, if only we had some sort of deal that resulted in a solid framework that would have prevented Iran from further nuclear weapons development. Maybe something like a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action?

You literally can't go wrong with a Brother b&w laser printer.

If you switch that drop down that says "Korea" to "All regions", do you get results? I confirmed that if I switch that to Korea it filters out results.

I get HBO Max through my wireless carrier, but there's no way in hell I'd pay for it on its own. The Max app is just straight, unadulterated hot garbage.

This is almost identical to my Wrapped last year, with the exception of Kow Otani (Gundam Wing OST)

I have one through my legacy Google Play Music subscription. I get YouTube Music and YouTube Premium for $7.99/month

No kidding. I've tried to use Peer Tube but it was absurdly confusing.

HTC Droid Incredible in July 2010. That phone was a slow piece of shit and I loved it.

Take a look at Minifree Ltd. For less than USD $500, you can get a decent ThinkPad with Libreboot and your choice of Linux distro (KDE Debian is installed by default).

Yep, using conky-grapes.

Finally, some love for my boy Yamcha.

Did I read correctly that Chris Brown is among the nominees? What in the--and I cannot stress this enough--actual fuck?

Yes, you'll notice a few snap packages. This is because Authy is distributed on Linux as a snap.

You could always hop over to https://frame.work and pick up a refurbished Intel mainboard plus an enclosure (or 3D print your own using their plans). You'd just need to get some RAM and a small SSD to run an OS like TrueNAS and you'd be good to go for probably under USD $600.

Check out Minifree Ltd. They refurbish old Thinkpads, replace the bootloader with libreboot, and come with encrypted Debian KDE. They offer either the T440p or the X230, and you can choose different SSD and RAM configurations. Prices are as low as £258.00 for the X230 with 16GB of RAM and a 480 GB SSD.
