Keelah Se'lai.

Ah yes. Your tiny sample size.

From a disabled person. Fuck off. COVID sucked and continues to affect me.

There was 1000 less sold to a dinner desantis spoke at. So trump had more attendees than desantis.

COVID is still a pretty new thing. The whole shit storm was only 3 years ago. Flu has been around for fkn ages now, so it's just a common thing. Where we can predict mutations and how they'll effect people and spread. So it's not really a concern, it's just get your flu jab this year.

Whereas we're still researching COVID and learning about it. The mutations are different with different effects.

Until it hits normality like flu, and predictability like flu, it's good to keep people in the know.

I'm thankful it's still being reported about. As someone with a disability that weakens my immune system, I'm glad to see new vaccines or research into it. I got Omicron, thankfully I'd been vaccinated, cause even with the vaccine it sucked for me. And there was some weird AF symptoms, like the air just smelled like cheese, that one really threw me off. But had I not been vaccinated, who knows just how bad it would have gotten.

And then there's long COVID, we don't get long flu. COVID had an effect on my disability and I've felt worse since getting it.

So it's not just as easy as saying but the flu. They're two different things with different effects and predictability levels and research done into them. So instead of complaining that there's still stuff being written about it, be thankful it's being taken seriously so it can eventually just be a background thing that's akin to flu.

I loved that game. It was stupid goofy fun. Serious zombie games are all well and good. But campy silliness is what I love.

Lollipop chainsaw and the dead island series are my fave zombie games.

It's easier to hope someone will have information on an individual who's is reported on. Someone might see the article and realise they saw her in a coffee shop with a man, looking very uneasy. And tip off police.

Whereas homelessness is a much harder thing to tackle. That requires government intervention rather than individual intervention from someone who saw something suspicious. And getting a government to care about homeless people is a huge ask.
I hate that we have a homelessness issue, and I hate that it's not reported on much at all. Things should be in the public eye, in hopes that people wrote to their local rep to try get help.

But it's more likely you'll find a missing person (dead or alive) by posting an article than it is likely you'll resolve homelessness.

Twitter. The heck makes you think I use Twitter. 😹 Try again. Asshole.

Well thank you for making me choke on my coffee. That seabirds comment really caught me off guard.

Drugs, a breakdown, midlife crisis, or just Elon showing us who Elon actually is. Find out on the next episode of downward spiral!

Oh sweetheart. Unless you account for a heck of a lot of people. Hundreds to thousands isn't a very large sample size when you take into account the amount of people with disabilities there is in the world. And you also have to account for figures of people with undiagnosed disabilities too.

So yes. Your sample size is akin to your IQ.
Low.

I'm a die hard Nintendo fan. Been playing Nintendo since I was like 4.
Pokémon is one of my favourite gaming series ever.
However, I also play games that are basically Pokémon but with a different name. So long as there's not actual copyright being broken, who cares? Pokémon is an insanely successful franchise, if other companies want to try using the idea for their games in hopes of success. Go for it! It's fun seeing all the variants.
I get why people hate seeing their favourite game 'ripped off', but if Nintendo see it as an issue, they'll deal with it themselves. People need to chill out, I'm pretty sure Nintendo are capable of fighting their own battles. It's not like they're a small company of 10 people who might of not seen the game.

Found the incel.

Maybe actually, I don't know, talk to women. You'd realise that not every woman wants that type of person. But with the fact the first part of your comment is about how women can be better sex objects, maybe stay away from women.

I still eat chocolate. And cheese... And ice cream. I live alone so the only person who suffers is me. 😹

God damn, I might do this too. That's hilarious.

Also more hilarious if anyone ever visits. The joys of being a recluse. Guess I can give my mother a heart attack on her next visit. Lmfao.

You assume that because I play games that I'm a young boy?
I'm a woman in her 30s. Ive been playing games since I was 4. Ive played sega, Nintendo, playstation, Xbox and pc games. I also play d&d.
I play a wide range of games from Pokémon, Zelda, animal crossing to doom, overwatch, diablo, the dark pictures games, Alan wake, baldurs gate, mass effect, slay the spire.
I'm not playing due to corporate manipulation. I play because I want to play, because I enjoy engaging my brain and being able to focus on something fun. So please, continue to shit on things people enjoy instead of actually focusing on the things you enjoy.

Says the one who jumped to sexualising children. Nobody is talking about their sex lives.

And if we're on the topic. Straightness is forced down everyone's throats, all the movies and TV shows that contain straight couples. An insanely high majority. Guarantee you're fine with your kids knowing someone is straight. Homophobic asshole.

I worked for them a few years ago.
Try using a browser, if that doesn't work, clear the cache and cookies and try again. If it still doesn't work, try a different browser (the one they'd usually recommend was Firefox). If that doesn't work, customer service should be able to remove it for you.

The system is dumb, the security system is automated and did weird shit at times. One of the error codes in the document we had was labelled as 'WTF happened?'
So yeah. PayPal are kinda wang sometimes.

I worked for them. I've seen their list of error code reasons. Literally one of the error codes you could get was labelled as 'WTF happened?' on the list.
'Too many buckets' was another one, that one made me laugh tbh.
But they literally have like a 12+ page document of error codes and what they mean. The system is pretty buggy.
But generally our solution was, clear cache and cookies or try a different browser. It 75% of the time worked. If that didn't work, customer service could remove cards for you.

Go check out his profile. There's more on there. :)

I'm in my third play through of it. It's such an amazing game, so many emotions and amazing storylines.

Where are you up to?

And not the mention the insane toxicity. If I reported toxic chat in ow1, I always got a notice a day or two later. But literally from ow2, none of my reports have come back. And I've reported some pretty disgusting chats, racism, sexism etc. And nothing. At all. I know the notices are still a thing cause I've seen screenshots of people getting them. But I also noticed that generally it was the pc players. I don't think I saw a screenshot from console players.

And I hate that crossplay is now a thing. Yeah cool, our me against like 1 playstation player and 4 pc players in comp. That's really a fair match when my team is either all PS or one pc player.

And the volume of hacking and bots now is ridiculous. Again, no reports come back. Even on rein with an aim bot. It was so bad the dude would spin when he was near more than one character. Literally spinning round like a fucking Beyblade... But sure blizz, that's fine.

6v6 and two cap maps were awesome. Now I'm lucky if 2 cap pop up in arcade. Sigh. And they promised ow1 would stay, right until just before release then they trolled and ow2 was forced onto us.

Billy talent are great for political, fuck the government/ big corporations type songs. Not protest songs so much. But it feels pretty on theme. Their messages are great.
Surprise surprise and viking death march are two of my personal favourites songs by them.

Oh man, you've got sooo much to go! It's great. I love that whole starting area. It's so much fun.

My second play through was a wood elf bard. She was pretty fun to play. Considering I'm a barbarian player usually. First play through was a half orc barbarian, she was really cool.

Glad I'm not the only one who confused skyports to sky sports. 😹

So long as you own their stuff. Since they pulled shit with Bethesda, I'm pretty certain we can see blizz stuff going from playstation. It only mentioned call of duty getting a 10 year promise. No mention of diablo or overwatch.

So you'll get to play, if you own a pc or Xbox. Microsoft can't stand the fact Sony beat them in console sales constantly.

I'm fully on the, this deal should have been blocked side. They're monopolising like a toddler hording toys so nobody else can play with them.

Yet the sales figures show Nintendo have amazing sales.

  1. PS2 - 159 million.
  2. Nintendo DS - 154.02 million.
  3. Nintendo switch - 125.62 million
  4. Gameboy/ Gameboy colour - 118.69 million
  5. PS4 - 117.2 million.

3 out of the 5 top sales belong to Nintendo. So regardless of hardware, Nintendo is a loved gaming system.
Whereas Xbox is number 9 on that list with the 360 at 85 million. So the console war seems to be between Nintendo and Sony at this point.

Okay okay. So let me get this straight. Story bad. You realise story has been a centre point of gaming for a long long long time.

Second. As someone who has played games for 25+, there's plenty of games out there if you just want constant combat. Doom for example. Halo. Overwatch. Apex. Dark souls.
Even combat heavy games have stories though. Overwatch has background lore and in game story now.
Doom gotta save everyone from bad alien dudes.
Halo. Stop the covenant using the rings.
Dark souls... Well dark souls is so lore heavy it's hard to keep up with the story.

So if you don't like story in games. Well maybe stick to space invaders and leave the good games to people who actually appreciate good games.

I wanted something that was limited edition. Like the consoles.
So I have the limited edition animal crossing switch and the legend of Zelda Gameboy advance SP.
I also have numerous collectors editions of games.

Also, anime/ gaming figures. Have numerous shelves filled with them now, it's really cool to see every day in my living room.

I saw this way before Reddit went batshit. I had the pride doge one, it was one of a couple of free ones.

Yes, Reddit is a shit show. But this isn't a new thing they've just done. So I don't know why it's being brought up as ammo now. It's been around for ages. Reddit are assholes, but bringing old stuff into this as if it's brand new, not cool.

Brand loyalty is stupid.
How dare you mention leaving windows. I use windows!

Yes... Brand loyalty is stupid. So maybe look in that mirror before commenting dude.

I've worked retail, office jobs, call center jobs and warehouse jobs. I made an office 'friend' in two of those jobs. One who id grab drinks with outside of work and another who id chat to via text occasionally. But as our jobs changed and lives moved on. So did we.

I don't feel the need to be forced into social situations, people are tiring and there's better things I could spend my time on that being shoved into a room with co-works who I have no interest in talking to and have no interest in talking to me.

Both my best friends are long distance friends. I've known one for 13 years, we've met up once. And one for 9 years who I've never met in person. And they're the best friends I've ever had. If they have issues, I'm right there via text or call to help. Same if I have issues. We send eachother gifts for birthdays/ Christmas, or just because. The 9 year friend and I do a book trade and recommend eachother things we think the other would like (not just book recommendations).

My partner and I have been together for almost 2 years now, we live in different countries. And it's honestly the best relationship I've ever had. Not because of the distance, we visit eachother multiple times a year. But the distance also isn't an issue.

So long distance friendships/ relationships can work.

Just because some people need that face to face interaction, doesn't mean everyone else does. Especially when it's forced by a workplace. If it was to meet up with a friend, I'm sure it would be more welcomed. But being made to meet up with co-workers who aren't friends/ close with, that sounds miserable. Being made to do something you don't want to do/ aren't interested in is never fun. Ever try get a teenager to clean their room? Often not very high on their list because it's something they don't want to do. The same can be said for social events with co-workers for a lot of people.

Larian said they were releasing a complete game. I honestly hope they don't release an expansion. The ending was great, and I don't know where you go after. An expansion past the ending would almost cheapen the whole game for me. After a huge build up to the fight of the netherbrain. It wouldn't feel right to continue after that.

And only getting to 12th level felt fine. I don't think it needed to go higher. Mine abs my partner's characters were beasts even at level 12. So it doesn't feel like it's necessary.
