"Long COVID" is just an euphemism for organ damage. These people have brain damage, and I assume their recovery journey will be similar to that of someone who suffered a stroke.

The article didn't explain it very well, so I'll ask here. The article said mantle plumes are responsible for the lower gravity in the area. Is this because the magma has a lower density than the surrounding mantle?

Yeah, I'd say stress due to financial hardship and dread due to climate change are primary causes poor mental health, but I don't see politicians doing anything meaningful for these.

It's hard to justify putting more than the minimum into retirement savings when you expect the world to be dramatically different in 20 to 40 years. Not even accounting for climate change, long-term economic models show a collapse of the current system within a few decades.

You could do an Italian red sauce, then serve Eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Parmesan. It should be the same prep for both dishes.

I ended up switching to Ubuntu, as I found networking with UFW (universal firewall) a lot easier to control, then I run Windows in a VM as needed.

From what I understand, the models say that a combination of overpopulation and increasing pollution will cause significant food scarcity. Here's an article: https://www.vice.com/en/article/z3xw3x/new-research-vindicates-1972-mit-prediction-that-society-will-collapse-soon

Most articles try to be optimistic, but seeing as we just completely overshot the Paris Climate Accord targets, I have no hope of curbing pollution or climate change.

Yeah, the two things I'm willing to pay someone else to do is hardwood refinishing and drywall taping/plastering.

Yep, their power tools are dirt cheap, so if you manage to break them, no big deal. But a lot of them are pretty good quality.

I got a tile wet saw for a lot cheaper than any of the other big box stores, and it's been a champ for home renovation tasks.

An allergic reaction, or an immune response?

Ideally, you'd want it anchored into a stud.

Do you think those billions of people will die quietly? Do you think the global supply chains will survive such massive civil unrest? Do you think supermarkets will be able to keep shelves stocked? How will cheap electronics, cars, produce, etc. be available if the exploitable labor sources of poor countries are in chaos?

The global society we live in today will collapse.

The thing I found that works for me is trying to exercise. Even if I got nothing else done that day, at least I got 15-30 minutes of exercise. Plus, in the long run, it tends to help with your mental health.

Everyone goes though the 5 stages of grief when it comes to climate change.

Sumatra PDF is easily my favorite, but you'd have to use Wine.

I see, I got a WD Red Plus for myself for around that price, and it looks like that's CMR. The base WD Red is SMR, though.

How'd it turn out? I love eggplant, but I don't have many simple recipes.

Is there access to a cleanout from below?

I mean, I'm not going to spoon feed you every relevant article possible. There's plenty of info online - I recommend looking into how the heating of the ocean and changing pH is going to destroy marine life.
