They basically force you to use snaps, that's why it's not good.
They also have ads in the package manager.
Lmao how did you do that?
I have a touchscreen laptop, and GNOME is 100% the most polished desktop I tried on it. IMO they have the best touchscreen implementation I've ever seen (even better than windows): the mouse pointer is separate from the touchscreen "pointer". So if you tap the display somewhere, your mouse won't go there.
I actually like it tbh
Nouveau is slow
Deezer nu-
The new SteamOS is arch based, the old ones were debian-based. Also, since ubuntu is based on debian, Pop is also kind of debian based, fyi
What?
They're giving Ubuntu pro ads in the package manager, forcing you to use snap to install Firefox (by installing the snap when you use apt), and probably other stuff
There's a fork of newm that's still maintained, you could try it.
Not really a solution to what you need, but you should consider distros other than manjaro, it does some shady stuff, has ddos'ed the AUR multiple times (even though the AUR is "unsupported") and let the security certificates for their site expire (their solution: to turn back your clock to update the system). You should try endeavour instead.
This doesn't answer your question, but Pop!_OS isn't abandoned. They're just updating it only based on Ubuntu LTS versions, because they're working on a new desktop.
With tbis update system, I don't understand why you can't use your phone while doing it.
It would still be a better president than Trump
I've been interested in Nitrux ever since I read about it. I won't switch to it because I went on the path of nix, but I'll try it out on a spare PC.
The thing is, thes posts don't have trump in their title...
Based OS :)
