Nope, it's very snappy for me. I use both Firefox and Mull on Android with ublock.

Clear cache/app data and try again?

Thank you for this, worked like a charm!

Firefox with Bypass Paywall Clean D extension

https://lemmy.world/post/3175920 this is the post the user created. It was their first post and they weren't even on lemmy.world

Poor guy got charged too

Hide read posts only from the frontage. There should be an option to have them visible in their community itself to refer back later.

Oh lol, I didn't read that far into the article.

ISRO took the fuel efficient route. That's why a mission launched in July is landing now. Russia's crashed lander reached moon in ~13 days. They are already quite concious of spending their research grants wisely.

I'm surprised by these people who bring up their hatred filled political agenda at every opportunity. Why don't you go start an India bashing circle jerk community or instance and please remain there.

I'd recommend you create your instance and defederate from the 58.99%. Wouldn't miss you the slightest!

No one wants to see children starve. We can discuss that if you make a separate post about it backed with a reference to facts.

Hijacking this and every other post about Chandrayaan with anti-India politics is not the way. This post is about a scientific milestone and let all discussions be regarding that. Show some courtesy and you'll get better discussion on the points that you bring up.

Now go grab the opportunity to start Schwim Tech Tips (STT)

This is a fair ask imo if the borrowed code is used currently.

It would be helpful if you could list a few games.

Come on, go spout your hatred somewhere else. This is to commemorate a scientific milestone that the entire scientific community will benefit from.

And with a custom userConfig the top tabs disappear like Edge too

This sounds quite good to me. Lot of online games have chat abuse that goes unchecked. If their AI is any good it should help.

Or alternatively, all the comments across them should be visible in-line in all communities.

Either of these approaches gives the agency to users to only reply to one of the cross post and read all the opinions/thoughts on that post. At the same time, it maintains the federation philosophy by not taking a community about a topic down, if the instance fails.

Cattle are important and precious. There are already immoral practices brought by capitalism while raising animals for slaughter. This doesn't imply that it's moral to now bring an animal to life just to steal its organs as well.

Organ transplant can be achieved artificially by just developing the organs themselves in the lab. There already has been work done in that regard.

Is there a custom filter for removing paywalls? I use it and it doesn't do that for me

No, the extension is supposed to give you advanced controls in managing your container workflow.

Everyone says subscribe to hashtags to get content. I have no idea how to do that on the official Mastodon Android app. If it's that obtuse, it's not going to catch on easily.

Microblogging was never my preference and as it wasn't easy enough to figure out in the app itself, being a casual user, I never looked it up in a guide/video.

You can move around in them. Atleast on Android, there is a hidden red bar at the bottom which becomes visible if you pause the video.

Sounds like Russia wants to have its cake and eat it too. Not that I'm surprised

Why choose this over DuckDuckGo? Genuine question as it has minimal tracking and is free.

This link is from a reddit thread

@ljdawson@lemmy.world my request is a bit different. I actually use Sync. When we hide posts from the frontpage using "Hide Read Posts" toggle, it hides the post from both the frontpage and the community where the post was posted. I'd like to have a setting where it only hides read posts from the frontpage.

Sometimes I like to go back to a community (like Starfield for e.g.) to read posts that I hid previously from frontpage to see newer discussions or just look back at things after a couple of days.

Umm, I'm not sure as I didn't use Sync for Reddit, if it was an app specific feature.

In the current Lemmy app if we hide read posts, they are kinda lost. I'd like to visit a community and even see the read posts that were hidden from the frontpage. It could be an option for the user to decide if they want the current method or let the hidden "read" posts be hidden only from the All/Subscribed/Local frontpage (and not from the community page itself)

That's not true. RAM usage in open world games depends on how much assets are being loaded. We'll need an in-depth analysis to determine if it is bad optimization or not

Which distro did you use? I have a win 10 laptop and I might switch over to a Linux distro

Bypass Paywalls Clean (D) on Firefox works

Stupidity clearly doesn't belong only in cattle.

Happened yesterday for about 15 mins

We use CentOS for work.

This is the GitHub page of the extension. It details supported websites and other things

It sounds like you should play Starfield

(If you want latest title and not bound by fantasy)

I have EasyList as well but recently added ConsentOMatic. That's working without hiccups if you'd like to install it

Care to explain more?

They are still getting the data even if we defederate them, right? It's only us who don't get their data. This was my understanding on how federation works

I believe defederating should be a user choice rather than an instance unless done for spammy/toxic instances. If instances starts to be too liberal with defederation, you create silos and introduce more hurdles for the growth of fediverse. This creates a broken up network that may not be social for everyone.

Obviously, you can be on an instance that defederates Threads.net if that's your preference.
