When I first looked into Lemmy, which was probably well over a year ago at this point, I saw that they had an alternative front end called LemmyBB which resembles the older style phpBB boards of the late 90s and early 00s. It looks like the demo instance is offline now, and it wasn't federating to begin with, but it certainly looks like an interesting use of the tech.

Has anyone actually watched a Tucker Carlson episode? I mean a full episode and not curated clips that show up in your social media feed. A full episode where you listened to the whole thing from start to finish.
Well, you might be surprised. Part of reconciling your difference with the other 50% of the country that doesn't agree with you is being willing to listen to the media they consume. I don't agree 100% with conservative media at all. Hell no. But part of my journey on figuring out what is going on involves at least giving the opposition a chance to speak. If you are set in your ways I understand and you will do what you feel is right.
I just want people to at least entertain the opportunity that maybe... just maybe they should look at things a little further before they declare half their neighbors to be the enemy.
If a candidate wants my vote, they need to earn it. I've done enough of voting against, and from now on I'm only voting for.
What I see is that Democrats can't put up any candidates who are actually worth voting for and then to top it off they push insulting slogans like "Vote Blue No Matter Who." If other Democratic voters really want to swallow that with no pushback, that is their business. But I'm not doing it anymore.
But don't you dare go and demand who I vote for while claiming the consequences of not would result in some imagined violence. It's bad enough when the DNC is lying to me but then I have to read nonsense takes of Liberals making threats because they've scared themselves to death with their own propaganda.
