Monthy McMonthface

"what is the age cut off for socially acceptable fun having" is what I read. Do what you enjoy and anyone saying you shouldn't do X, or you are too old to do Y aren't the type of people I associate with. Just turned 30 and I never plan to stop.

The amount of moderation actions from those instances were a lot higher than from elsewhere, specifically lemmy.world. With how lemmy.world is now after browsing it for ~5 mins I can confidently say that that would be the case again if we were to refederate

When Netflix was the only service that mattered, i paid for the convenience. As soon as i had to check 3 places for something I wanted, i cancelled and started pirating again

I love duck duck go but theres one key thing I've been missing (or don't know how to do) with google you can just throw -word or -"a phrase" and it will ommit any result with them

That would lead to having to manually approve every instance by the admins. Mods can't do that so it would 100% be on them to keep up with all the instances

duckduckgo is my go to now, but not out of lack of usability. haven't used google for ~4-5 years for privacy concerns

I love this joke, I just wish that

Pi-hole and a vpn on my phone keeps me ad free everywhere, and with extensions on firefox on pc and andriod it keeps other annoyances that aren't ads away

Actively ignoring one now. I have a dying ssd that's been loosing sectors. Everything important is backed up and Its faster than the replacement hdd would be. Waiting for a good deal on a 2 tb nvme ssd

Got into super breeding. Maxed out damage and health and got a lot into speed on my rexes. Its very rewardimg being able to 1 or 2 shot a 150 rex. Takes like a month+ to get anywhere with it. That rex with those stats took like a year of breeding

The companies don't care if they have legal grounds. The threat of legal fees are enough to make most places comply

Days off are my do nothing days. I schedule stuff either before or after work days

Endless candle. Infinite free energy

Although its been a while, ksp linux was the fist to have 64bit support compared to the windows version. If you haven't heard of ksp it's space program/ spaceflight simulator grounden in real world physics/rocket technology with a few caveats. Without mods, the planets are "on rails" and don't change orbits, and you are only affected by one "gravity source" at a time. The system it takes place in is about 1/10th scale

In theory, I play them all. In practice it is all on PC thanks to emulators

Been super busy this past month, finally done with my backlog and have time to enjoy myself again.

Dark souls 2 was definitely the weakest of all From games, this coming from someone with ~4000 hous in ds 1, 1-2k hours in ds3 and Sekiro

Same. I am ~99% done with everything except the gerudo area, including the depth. Interest dropped like an anchor

No that joke was very

I'm hoping this is the push needed for a Reddit alternative to gain enough traction without being a cesspit like Voat was.

The fediverse? Meh. Beehaw? Loving it

been watching spacetime since the original host, amazing channel

Just like I'll never have something smaller than a full tower. With just cheap air cooling I can get stable 68c with heavy overclocking

I read the title thinking about DF or crusader kings. Nope, deep rock galactic. Wut?

Aslo rock and stone

+1 to kenshi. I have ~1500 hours in it. Noita is dope too, but Ive barely touched it as I suck at it

Maybe, I haven't given them much thought. It's further away than starting Mars would be. It would take much longer but we could start terraforming sooner than build an O’Neill cylinder

Do what I do with my expensive hobbies. Learn how to make your own fursuit. Start with simple sewing and work your way up. Once you get there you can make other fursuits for $

One thing I can tell you is Mexican Coca-Cola is 100% worth it

I know how. I learned ony dad's old pickup. Havent used manual since (in my 30s)

Still have an ir blaster phone, they can tear this old phone out of my cold dead hands

Firefox on PC and Android. DuckDuckGo is my default search engine now

Praise the Arch wiki though

Even for someone like me who prefers linux I still end up using windows most of the time. Even with 90% of games working on linux, theres that 10% I still need to boot up windows for.
