The crazy thing is that I find myself commenting way more in here. If I was to answer to an askreddit thread, it would just get lost, but since the community here is smaller, it feels like every comment has more relevance
Perhaps to expand on that: also have a fire blanket in your kitchen. They are dirt cheap, no maintenance and if something catches on fire during cooking you can throw them over and stop it before a chaotic situation develops.
Should be all the communities that your instance has discovered.
One of the things I wonder in these videos: Has none of these guys ever seen one of these videos? It's not like the idea is super original, and I would think that in like 20 years of internet usage you would stumble on one of these and decide to not do that yourself.
Only downside is you won't find stuff from domains without lemmy in them, e.g. feddit.de
