Actually worthwhile AmAs have been a casualty on Reddit for a while and I don't blame the mods one bit.

Why is everybody on these platforms "4 something" now? Politics isn't football, you don't pick your team and have to let everyone know about it.

It's worse then you think. That "popular" screen is what's popular to all of Reddit determined by their algorithm, not what's popular in the subreddits you have subscribed to. There's no way to avoid the firehose of whatever they want to feed you, you can only go to a specific subreddit in the app instead.

It's basically unusable for me in this state.

You shouldn't use Brave simply because it's heavily infected with crypto shit and tries to monitorize your web browsing time by default. Not everything you do has to be a side hustle.

Sure you can "switch it off" but then why not use something else in the first place that's focus isn't trying to make money out of you. If Brave ever gained any decent market share the web would be an even shitter place than what Google is suggesting at the moment.

Plex is easier to set up and has more features that are more polished than what Jellyfin has. It's also a more well known name and been available a lot longer and it's app is available on a lot more devices including TVs themselves.

Jellyfin will one day be the superior option though once it's more polished and caught up in these areas.

I got a couple of bans from automod because some precious mods get offended by you overwriting your comments with Power Delete Suite. Some of the comments were like 5 years old or older that were overwritten and got me banned.
