This is how they do it. They wedge themselves in via convenience with the hopes that we'll stay on their ecosystem eventually.

Omg. This at my house. All old cat 3 phone line. The lines aren't even terminated anymore but I can't pull them out. Same with all the coax lines. So frustrating.

Agreed. For me, making it so that the search engine ignores -string was one of the biggest set backs.
