I always thought the whole circles concept was genius, and it annoys me that nobody has tried to replicate it.

My only regret...
I always heard it as seagulls. Swoop in, make a bunch of noise, crap all over everything, then leave.
I have one. No crumple zone. No airbags. Slow acceleration. Can't reach highway speeds. No headrest.
But it's my favorite car ever. I just treat it like I'm riding a motorcycle. I'm dead in an accident, so I try to be hyper-aware.
Is there a way to review what you've blocked and/or unblock a community?
I've looked and if it's there, I can't see it.
Take a look at "vinegar" in the app store. It's a safari extension that changes the video tag on youtube videos and removes the ads.
I don't explain it well, and it costs money (fyi), but it's working for me.
Good job, bob good
Found it, thanks! I also tried it in memmy, and I don't think it's there yet.
I'm on my phone away from my computer, so I don’t know the exact syntax, but I use a built-in kitten to set the font inside my .zshrc
It has its pros and cons, but it works well for me.
I was an every day redditor and an Apollo diehard, but after what reddit pulled on the 3rd party devs I didn't want to support them at all. (Full disclosure, I probably wasn't monetizeable to reddit since I was mainly a lurker, but I would have paid a subscription to keep Apollo around).
I worried that lemmy/kbin wouldn't cut it, since the web ui feels kind of janky. But now I'm in the memmy beta and it's amazing. I have zero desire to go back to reddit.
The future looks bright.
radicle.xyz checks those boxes, but it's gossip protocol, not activitypub.
Still cool, though.
Holy cow, yes. I didn't hate the movie, but it definitely was not what was presented in the trailer.
It does, but it's a little obtuse to use.
Yup.

I support 100% tax over $1 billion. If you can't manage on a billion dollars, the rest would be better spent on others, anyway.
