What is the most "Thankless" job?

IT in so many ways in so many industries.

  • "Everything's working, so what are we paying you for?"
  • "Everything's broken, so what are we paying you for?"

At least it pays.. usually

Honestly, not that well. I got out of IT because I could make double as a developer.

What do you mean? Software developer? That's still IT. If you mean as admin then yeah it's super thankless and pays not enough
