Edit : Yes there are workarounds using Revanced. Check the comments for some awesome help on how to do this if you wish! Just know, in the future it will most likely end up being patched annoyingly and I therefore recommend looking forward to the future with us here.

sorry but can this make reddit is fun work again for free? Also is revanced open source and safe to run on a smartphone?

You can just compile Infinity with your own API keys and It willl work without any problem. Persoanlly, I am more mad from the response and the threats from the CEO of Reddit than the actual change with the APIs
