I see the irony here 😂

Pointing out that people are saying something too much isn't irony.

"The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning." - irony

It's not the"pointing out" that makes it ironic... It's the popularity of the post running counter with your underlying argument in the past that makes it's ironic.
