Afaik the DS basically has GBA hardware built in, right? So I don't see why there was a chance of it not working
Mostly that it was a GBC game being released in 2023 with the website being the assumed location it would be played. I honestly figured it was just a generic file type that was made in the style or with the constraints of the Game Boy Color, not that it was actually a Color game.
