Found this stupid LinkedIn post. It has a lot of meme template potential. Thought I would share it with the fediverse

That's not so stupid if you've ever been on an industrial construction site. People have died with rebar through skulls, stomachs, viral organs.

The last panel is probably meme material, NGL.

Oh it's most certainly a serious hazard, but the high def cross sections are a bit much. They could have chosen a bunch of ways to get the point across, but no, traumatic anal impalement (band name?) it is for LinkedIn!

Your reply made me laugh. My imagination needs work!

It being "funny bc ass" makes it stick out more in your mind, increasing the likelihood you'll remember it. Funny yet gruesome accidents are drilled into your mind more completely. You might not remember a story about a person getting their arm stuck and spine snapped, but you are more likely to remember the story about a dude getting sucked into a spinning machine and turned into a coiled rope, thrashing around until the machine stopped.

Gore can be absurd and our bodies can be warped in unexpected ways, so stay safe and follow the rules. Most are written in blood.
