It's insane that we've let them shift the discourse this far right. We're already in dystopian late-stage capitalism with crumbling public infrastructure being used as an excuse to increase giveaways of public funds to private corporations and that's just not right-wing enough.
To these people, freedom only counts if it's for the owner/capitalist/investor class. How else could we claim with a straight face to be the land of the free when we have the highest prison population per capita on the planet?
