It’s almost like he wants to piss people off. Calling moderators running his site for free and upset ally what’s happening “landed gentry”?!

Yeah really. But, I'm sure he's surrounded by people -- investors, other CEOs who love the precedent of exploiting their volunteers, probably most if not all Reddit high-level staff -- encouraging him and telling him it's going well. Back in the 1990s Microsoft was known as being in a reality distortion field and I've seen similar things happen at other companies as well.
I’m also sure he’s mad he’s not making that Facebook money - he specifically brought up how much they make in comparison.
He's mad the value of his stake in the company is going down the toilet before the IPO.
If the IPO happens, won't there be a board of directors who can fire him?
