I agree that this post is dumb, but why is Reddit now trying to bury it? Has the OP of that thread been getting blasted in the comments?
Probably got lambasted for being one of the worst non-apology apologies in the history of apologizing.
You can see at the time of the screenshot it sitting at 0 karma, so... yeah, probably.
They stopped displaying negative karma on admin posts a while back.
