Did the reddit hivemind do a 180 or are the people left behind just the people who don't care.
Reddit Migration@kbin.social – 197 points – Prior to the protest reddit was in full support of the protest. Most polls on subs supported a shutdown. Now, seemingly every community cant understand why the protest was needed and they're calling it a mod power trip. There is a 3rd possibility. This is an unfounded conspiracy but reddit themselves could be manipulating scores.

I created a community on KBin for one of my favorite niche sub Reddits, which just came back from going dark. I shared it with them this morning and my post is getting downvoted to oblivion.
The inertia of the average Redditor.
Thing is, we need the power users who create content to be early adopters. The rest will eventually follow.

Seems shady. Maybe there is a legit army of reddit protectors out there. It definitely wouldn't surprise me if reddit employees or software was down voting.
