Never been a huge fan in pop, like, ever. After listening to Chappell Roan on Tiny Desk, I'm of the opinion that she's the best thing in pop since Elvis. Just killing it.
Even if I find her music incredibly annoying, she seems like a legitely good, principled, person who found success through actual talent instead of connections. Glad to see it
Her story is so good! Her record label dropped her during COVID. She moved back to Missouri and worked at a coffee shop, still writing music, signed again and the rest is history.
