UOC MP (Russian Orthodox) representatives reportedly broke through the entrance gates and lobbed tear gas into a crowd of Orthodox Church of Ukraine believers.

Using tear gas on worshipers, just like Jesus would have wanted. The UOC MP is just an appendage of the Russian state, they were right to get booted out of the Cathedral.

The Russian Orthodox Church is basically a propaganda arm of the Russian government. The army has its own personal cathedral and Patriarch Kirill ("former" KGB asset, by the way) describes the invasion of Ukraine as a holy war.

Russian Orthodoxy was a fake church created specifically to prevent Orthodox bishops from rejoining union with Rome after the Council of Florence. They arrested the bishops and elected their own, creating their own "church." Although it was eventually recognized by Orthodox Churches, it took a lot longer than you'd expect. Now they are in schism against the rest of Orthodoxy, so perhaps the Council of Florence can finally find resolution. Never trust Russian Orthodoxy.
