I haven’t been on Reddit since last week, so please indulge my curiosity! What’s the vibe like over there right now? What are the comment sections like?

I deleted my account last week, so I’m going through a “just broke up and want to ask their friends how they’re doing” kinda thing lol. As much as I want the company to be in a tale spin right now, I can’t really trust all the reports I’m seeing on the fediverse, since emotions are high and people are really hoping to see the company flounder.

@Netsettler2k the vibe is many are looking for a “Reddit alternative.” That’s actually how I came to find this place. I joined a protest group and learned about this place. I hadn’t really heard of it before so I thought I’d give it a try.

@driver_pro Welcome! This place is pretty neat and since I've been here I've entirely been off reddit without regret. Help us grow more!
