Brand new instance dedicated to gardening, check it out!
Could probably create some communities there specific to flowers, vegetables, etc.
They could use some help getting users and getting federated--which will only help Lemmy overall, as lemmy.ml and beehaw.org are getting killed at the moment.
When I try to subscribe to the gardening sub (is that what we still call them?), I get the following link:

The Lemmy documentation has some gaps, it seems.
Not the person you asked, but when I try to search for "!gardening@thegarden.land" it returns with Gardening@ash1-lem-i1-u4829.vm.elestio.app which does in fact link to the correct place.
This should be fixed, can you give it a try now please?
