House Republicans will hear Monday from nine lawmakers vying to be the next speaker of the House, with a candidate forum that ushers in a grueling day of voting Tuesday.
At this rate, we're going to have a government shutdown in November when the temporary funding expires, but the GOP won't have anyone to blame but themselves. Now, if only their voters will see that...
It's frustrating when only one party cares about reality and consequences. Anyone still voting Republican must be either incredibly ignorant, (they believe the GOP leadership when they openly lie,) or malevolent, (they are aware of what they are doing, implementing christofascism, trying to end democracy, and they like it.)
