why would cdn.adsafeprotected.com be an allowed fingerprinter when I select site details in Firefox for Android?

I get that the site itself has this but can't it be blocked? Have the latest Ublock origin. Tried the site in Mull as well.

Could be I am misinterpreting what its doing..

You want the site to remember you don't want to be tracked right? Well unless you want the consent box every signal time you make a new session the consent box needs to track you.

oh that's what it's for? the 'adsafeprotected' threw me off and searching around the web it seemed to be related to something else..

Clock the little padlock next to the site and it says Advanced Tracking Protection and a bit underneath is says Details ->

expand that then Fingerprints

with guardian you can disable all 3rd party and enable only guardian.map.fastly.net + guim.co.uk

site will work fine

Where do you see that menu? In Mull I can't find it anywhere, while on theguardian.com
