The European Union is not fooling around, and European countries are under pressure to adhere to ambitious plans to get their roadways up and ready for the total phaseout of fossil fuels in the years ahead.

This is great news.

Denmark has introduced a road tax specifically for cargo transport from 2025, which received a lot of criticism from the sector because they didn't feel like they had any alternative. Here's the alternative. The government put the money where the mouth is and now it's time for the transport sector to do the same.
