“Right now, there are two big IPs other than Sonic,” Utsumi said. “One is Persona. We are introducing two Personas this year. And also, our Yakuza title. I mean, Yakuza is really unique, but that big one is also coming next year too, so be ready [for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth]. “But also, as I say, we are trying to be in a lot of different kinds of businesses, additional areas, like Roblox and movies. All these IPs can be somewhere else other than games soon.”

Personally, I want a live action Persona 4 movie, still set in Japanese countryside, and with almost entire Japanese casts, with only one exception, the MC is Chris Pratt, but now he quips non-stop in Brooklyn accent.

Similarly, I want a Yakuza live action, with Kiryu as the main protagonist, but of course played by Chris Pratt again, with Brooklyn accent.

I just wanna watch the world burns and explodes and implodes into a black hole.

A Persona 4 image with yellow background but cursed with Chris Pratt face photoshopped to replace MC's face. Below is an additional dialog box that says "Everyday's great at your Walmart!" :::

But which character will Anya Taylor Joy play? 🤔

strangely, also Chris Pratt.

omg, now I need to photoshop Chris Pratt onto Anya's face

I know this is meme but thankfully sonic actually had a good non-insider cast. Like, yeah it had the star-power pulls like Danny DeVito and Idris Elba but it also has very passionate (not that these two aren't) actors like James Marsden and Neal McDonough. I'd feel more confident with the SEGA movies currently than I am feeling about the TLoZ movie at the moment lol.

I genuinely like the Sonic movies more than Mario. Ben Schwartz did a good job voicing Sonic, the jokes in the movies made me chuckle.

I think the Mario movie played it a little too safe. It's not bad, but I barely remember anything about it.
