Security is the main reason I'm considering switching to flatpak Steam. Being able to limit system access for Steam and its games to ~/Games is a blessing and easy to do with flatseal.
The disadvantage is getting new mesa (graphics driver) versions later.
The easy anti cheat that has root access and can allow hackers into your system? Nah
