If I wait for my face to be completely dry before applying tretinoin (which is recommended practice afaik) my moisturizer (which is recommended to be applied on damp skin) will not be able to trap much moisture in. How do other tret users navigate this conundrum?
A lot of people prefer to use tretinoin after their moisturizer. It can reduce irritation from the tretinoin while in theory not reducing its effectiveness. Just remember to wait 30 minutes inbetween applications! You can google "tretinoin sandwich method" if you wanna learn more about it.
