21G is too large for long term repeated drawing, 23G or smaller should be used. additionally you dont need to use different needles for drawing and injecting (despite popular belief. subq is not better than IM or "more fool-proof", infact subq can be worse for many due to irritation. ideally you would want fixed needle syringes for lowest deadspace, as the vial will last longer.

it should also be noted vials have a shelf life of 2-4 years, so you arent able to stockpile more than that

no.. sometimes people just post things

when one person posts other people feel more comfortable posting, and more posts ensue

be the change you want to see in the world xP

we like to look back on our many "egg moments". makes us feel much better. those moments where we said the most trans thing to ever be said, etc

(totally valid to not have these but a lot of creatures do)

congrats!!!!

Taking or not taking HRT doesn't make you more or less valid. And remember, you can always stop it after you start it if you want to. Do what you think will make you happy, and do it when you are ready. If that means waiting to take HRT that's perfectly okay.

I'm not really sure what the deal is with the DIY hate in the other comments. Seems like cis people commenting on trans healthcare without actually knowing anything about trans healthcare (stop please). DIY isn't unsafe as long as you're getting your supply from a trusted source (which in this case I'm not sure you are, so that's your call). Doctors do not magically know everything, and they have proven time and time again to have no clue how to handle trans healthcare.

No matter what you decide, you are still valid. Not everyone takes HRT, and that's perfectly okay. Nobody can make this decision for you.

haiiii :3

edit: ur sooo cyyuteee :o

Yup. I have a car but it's under my fathers name (for now). I would have it under my name but I don't have the money to pay for the insurance. (car is long paid off). I'll get it in my name eventually.

gorgeous!

cute!

scientifically possible? yes

is it worth doing? probably not

Yes.

congratulations!!!! :o

I appreciate this greatly. Thank you for moderating the community this way.

I didn't mention DIY in the post because it can be a turn off for a lot people. HRT situation is complicated but it is something I want badly.

I’m also only taking E since I want to keep my T for now.

thats like... a really bad idea. not properly suppressing T while taking E is just going to lead to imbalanced hormones and make you feel like complete garbage. all the effects from E can only happen if your T is properly suppressed (especially physical changes)

you can't really "overdose" on Estrogen (you can overdose on AA's tho!!), there is technically a limit of "too high" E but its so incredibly high you'll never get anywhere close on normal dosing. anyway DIY is awesome! fuck the system. we don't understand why creatures are so adamant on having cishet doctors control their lives... especially when they have proven time and time again they are transphobic bigots who have absolutely no idea what they are doing. you don't need a doctor to tell you what dosage you need to take.. especially since they'll probably tell you the wrong dosage.

anyway, rant aside. DIY is great, it saves the lives of soooo many trans creatures (including us) and supporting the creatures who make it possible is also great!

very cis thing to do /s

think you replied to the wrong person

what form of E are you taking and what dosage? monotherapy will suppress T at right dosages. but you cant keep your T, thats not how it works.

make sure to dissolve it under your tongue!!! dont swallow it.

theoretically that could work, but it would be much safer on either an AA or 8hr intervals instead of twice a day (imo)
