Is there incessant breeding?
Aren't TFR's going down in most regions?

The best thing then would be focusing on the places that lag behind.

In my opinion, the best initial steps would would be increased literacy and scientific temper together with good quality public education and healthcare
Together with properly planned mechanisation n automation this would help most people.

How much does the cattle rearing industry contribute to global emissions?

VLC is awesome. Rcently started getting frequent updates too.

MPV is another nice one. Tried it out recently. The user script option seems very cool: SkipSilence, SkipChapters etc.

VLC for vids and audio I want to watch normally and MPV for ones where I want SkipSilence(Got used to that feature thanks to Newpipe and Pipepipe)

Offline Chess, Minesweeper, Sudoku etc. on your phone?
Using an RSS reader and catching up on news?

I've tried to follow their recommended routine, but never really stuck to it.
I think looking at learning the proper technique together with doubting whether it was working made me inconsistent. Also was afraid of hurting myself doing dips. Still am.

Maybe when I build up some base strength, I will be able to try it better.

With dumbbells, I started with simple bicep and tricep exercises. I could see decent improvements and added other stuff slowly.

I've started doing some pike-pushup-kind-of exercise.

Thank you, for the recommendation and for reminding me of it.

stay tuned for our next episode!

When will it be airing?

Thank you

Thank you.

My aim is decent health itself. I do wanna get stronger and get a more flat-ish tummy, since I've read something about hip to waist ratio. My main focus is to have decent strength n muscle.

All the best to you, in achieving your goal.

Landmine obliques (don't know the name)

Is it this exercise:

Only the living have a problem with anything tho

They are taught about it from childhood and many of us don't questions stuff we've learnt in our childhood.

Education fails to instil scientific temper in them

Lack of proper mental health awareness and support.

Isn't that generally said by countries that oppose them?

The land of the less authoritarian had race discrimination until half a century ago, right? Seeing the BLM, it seems to have a prominent role even now. So are they any better?

Batman is a CEO, right?

He just goes after the ones he can beat without much backlash from the public/system.

Imagine if he takes down a CEO. He'd not be able to play batman. Gordon and batman sympathisers would be affected, so Batman's human connection in the police would be lost. He can hack stuff, but might not always be enough.

He can do other stuff, but he can only do it gradually and much more tactfully.

Why?
They'd just need to get property in the safer places.

I think they'd improve research in automation and AI. So that they can have their stuff, without having to rely on regular people who'd be wiped out or affected by climate change in the long run.

Jerboa
Using it since it's the app from a lemmy dev.
It's decent for my use.
Tho, some option simulating the multireddit option would be good. But it might be becoming a feature request for lemmy than a lemmy app there.

United Soviets of Anarchia
Then we can claim achievements of both Soviet Union and U S of A as ours.

Isn't it good that a socialist is in those jobs? Better chance that they'd try to help people.

Islam used to be the forefront of scientific and mathematical discovery.

People of all religions have contributed to scientific growth.

The average religious person and the person discovering scientific/mathematical stuff are generally different tho.
Universal basic education has gained focus in many parts of the world, only relatively recently.

I think improved scientific temper would obviously clash with many mainstresm religions.

Presence of some supreme creator may not be proven or disproven, but I think the anti-evolution stuff and similar things in most mainstream religions would face more questions when scientific temper improves.

And I'm not saying that non-religious people are safe from similar stuff too. Just that it is easily spread and maintained when you have a community on it.

am both

Wiping out Windows trying to install Linux seems to be a common thing. Did that while trying to install Ubuntu as a teen.
Funnily, I didn't check which Ubuntu iso I downloaded and ended up installing Ubuntu server. I should've noticed with the gui-less installer, but then I thought that it was just Linux being hightech.

I think it's because of stuff like this:

I'm not a U.S.A-ian. From my view(might be too critical), I don't think the foreign policy would be greatly affected by the President or party, unless there's some massive movement and notion of losing resources like during the invasion of Vietnam.

Some 'innovator' writing all this down.

1 and 2 seem very possible. But 2 may lead to more piracy. So anti-policy lobbying may happen too.
The ones can be gradually introduced.

The need of a search engine for the fediverse?

What about the regular search on lemmy? Set to all instead of just comments or posts.

Stupid... Gonna read up

Then you're not stupid, right?

Thank you tho. Thought that I'd get negative responses.

Human languages or programming languages?

Yes.

Actually, the former. But curious to know about both experiences.

Thanks for sharing this here. Got to know about a new thing.

Cool. How much time does it take for encoding?
Which container do you generally prefer? mp4 or webm? Is there any remarkable benefit in choosing one over the other?

an end to colonialism, a shared global peace

Just this would be very very wholesome

The bourgeoisie would only care about profits and maintaining their power, right? They'd be both pro-lgbtqia+ and anti-lgbtqia+ if it gets them profit and/or pushes attention away from their misuse of power.
Like selling Che Geuvara T-shirts, while running propaganda against him.

Or are they seeing transphobia as mainly a reaction of religion/conservativeness? Even then a part of the bourgeoisie would try to profit off them, right?

Or did they respond as such because they saw the bait-y bourgeoisie remark(there are screenshots of the convo in the comments there)?

Would be good to see their response other than a screenshot of one reply in their private message convo.

Thank you

The current Russian govt is not aligned with Soviet principles or ideology, right?

And the Stalin period saw the Soviets fighting and defeating the Nazis in WW2. Does the calculation of excess mortalities account for such effects too?
Nazi instigators punished, famine caused by the effect of war, infrastructure damage by the Nazis, deaths in Nazi occupied areas. These things don't seem to be discussed much.

Been hearing about this. Peazip seems to support it.
Is zstd better than lzma in compressed size or is the optimality weighing in both compression time and compressed size?
Will try it out. Thank you

Graphene OS

I'm on a random Chinese android. It's cheap and decent, but I don't know if it would handle flashing a new rom. Graphene aims at support for Pixel, right?
