It says he's a saver, not a retriever!

My body is a temple.

It makes weird cracking noises and nobody knows how it hasn't collapsed yet.

I might be too american, but I'm more concerned about leaving a bike outside unlocked without a fear to have it stolen. How does that work?

Hotdogs outside. Empty inside. I think we can find a solution somewhere in the middle.

Saving this for sooner.

I don't see how saying that the democrats aren't achieving enough is an effort to elect Trump.

It's a matter of whether a piece of cloth can be machine washed or should be washed by hand. What Shadow is saying is that it looks machine washable enough, so he will not bother washing it by hand, even if the instructions said so.

I don't see why social darwinists wouldn't like it. I mean, that fungus is thriving. Thus, it must be a really strong individual who made good decisions (associating with trees when it was advantageous).

I use it as my main browser and I honestly can't go back to Firefox, but I really dislike some parts of it and of it's community. The browser itself is fast, its default ad-blocker is awesome and there are a couple functionnalities that are nice to see, like Tor integration. But they block ads to show you their ads instead, that you cannot block even if you deactivate the "Brave Rewards". The whole reward system in BAT is kind of shady; they need to authenticate you before you can withdraw anything and it's worth peanuts anyway. When I complained about those issues on reddit, I got answers that looked like they were produced by sect members, and it wasn't even on a related sub.

The what war, now? Do you mean the pain au chocolat war?

*nervously laugh in french*

If I can see him in the mirror, it means that he can see me in that mirror. Is this comic calling me gay?

I think a running gag in the community is that Quincy, being the starting hero, is okay early game but becomes more and more obsolete in the end-game. Him saying "Nothing gets past my bow" on repeat in the game is quite ironic, since, obviously, lots of bloons do get past his bow.

Okay, but I got angry at it, so now OP and society are even.

I understood that, but you need to reach both thresholds (200k downloads AND 200k $) to have to pay fees per install, so the number of install doesn't matter for a free game.

What would be the alternative? (assuming that you want to do the loop yourself)

new_results = []
for result in results:
    if result:
        new_results.append(result)
results = new_results

or else

for result in results:
    if not result:
        results.remove(result)

which doesn't do the exact same thing.
Honestly, this list comprehension is much faster to read and quite easy to understand.
I think we could rename the "result" variable "x" or "res" and it would be less confusing though.

A professor at my school was known to sell his own books as mandatory material to pass his class, with exams aimed more at the content of the book than the actual content seen in class.
Two years ago, his last book released with a digital version only. He put it on a platform full of DRMs and is now renting it to students. Like, you pay it for one semester through an online shop, and then you lose access to it. He was apparently also checking during the exams that everybody had a legal version on their computers.
I honestly can't understand why it's legal and authorized.

And I know HyperText Markup Language. We are not the same.

Wait, are rollerblades gay, now?

I understood that, but given how rich she is, does she really need that money for nesting sites? What is she doing with those nesting sites anyway? /j

I would like a way to respec my stats, please.
Also, permanent lung damage is kinda boring. I get the idea about "realism" and not breaking the immersion, but there is so much waste of time we could avoid.
And I hope the devs would be more open to criticism. Some fanbases start looking like cults from time to time.

Damn, that's one way to fight inflation.

A free game will never make 200k$ in a year, so I don't really see any issue here (?). Unless you are talking about free game with in-game purchase. Then yeah, someone who would download the game without doing any purchase after the threshold is met would be a net loss for the devs.

If we clean up the mess, then it shows that it's okay to create one because someone will take care of it eventually. I want people who created the mess to suffer from it too. That's why we need a messier mess.

Hi daddy :3

It's like unironically trying to turn the frogs gay. It won't help any good cause.

If you use Brave News (to display a RSS feed), you get "news" about Brave's functionnalities. They appear as any other widget in your feed, but are marked as "Advertisement" on the upper right corner. Here is an example from my feed : https://imgur.com/a/RJV2Px2 .

Looks like it's not the case anymore, but when I opened a new tab, some time ago, I used to get ads from Binance or other cryptocurrencies exchanges displayed as "cards" on the right of the window. Right now, I only get "cards" showing about "Brave Talks" or rewards, but it used to be advertisement about other products, such as Binance or other cryptocurrency company.

I can't reproduce it right now, but some "new tab" backgrounds are (or were) also advertisement for crypto-related products.

There was also a controversy some time ago where they were injecting their own referral link when you typed a cryptocurrency exchange's URL on the search bar : https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/06/07/brave-browser-caught-adding-its-own-referral-codes-to-some-cryptcurrency-trading-sites/ . They stopped after it got viral.

At least they are tagging their ads as such, but it's weird how you can't block any of it when they decide it's there.

Hi tired, I'm too!

With the blanket you can walk on the sun though. (Assuming that you won't get crushed by gravity)

I won't answer any more question.

On the Doom (or Stoner/Doom) metal genre, I would recommend Electric Wizard or Dopethrone.

Electric Wizard's Supercoven and Funeralopolis. Special mention to "I am nothing", but I don't want to spam their whole discography.
Dopethrone's Chameleon Witch and Vagabond

Those are pretty much the only two bands I know in that genre. Would like to hear more if anyone have suggestions.

How does one recuperate the energy from a candle to transform it to something useful? Also, would it's output be enough to power anything meaningful in a reasonable time anyway?

My favourite!

It is made for professional work, but as far as I know, it's mostly used to allow a bridge between that artists and the programmers.
What makes it interesting is that a programmer can code some functionnality to an object in C++ and then create a subclass in a blueprint (that visual bullshit). Then, a 3D artist can plug his model and animations simply with the visual code without any knowledge about programming.
If you use that to code the functionnality, it will be messy most of the time. I was really surprised to see how big of a graph you need to manage just to do a for loop with a condition and a couple variables, just to replicate 4 small lines of code. But sometimes, all you want is to call a function from the engine and it's actually faster to open a blueprint and call it there than to create a C++ class and recompile everything.

People who's parent weren't married when they were born when I throw an hydrogen bomb at them :

If you want to criticize how french people name that thing, you can remind them that when they want to refer to a "salle de bain", they will not only often use the english words "water closet", but they will also shorten it to "V-C". Yes. They pronounce it "VC". Not "WC". There are weird people in France.
(Note that the letter "W" is called "double v" in french, as opposed to "double u" in english.). Also note that it doesn't exist in Canada. That's a French thing.

Myself, full of all of the above because my house was built 100 years ago ^^

I've been playing Kalimba. It's a really nice instrument for people like me who are not great musicians. Really easy to pick up as a beginner, and you can still play "real" songs with it. Sounds good even if you're bad. Even if you already play music, it's still great. Portable too.

That was during the cleaning and reconfiguration of their cage. No need to worry :)

That's why Python has a superior syntax. There is usually one obvious way to do it, and that's the right way.
