I’m me, and happen to be just about everywhere

Glasses. The ability to see so much better than I otherwise could leaves me astonished every time I put them on.

Besides the obvious Minecraft recommendation, maybe Terraria, Satisfactory, and if you're willing to allow it, something like Smite would be another good option for him to play with his friends.

Shoutout to mander.xyz!

Hate to forever be a mander.xyz shill, but !biology@mander.xyz

Be the activity you want to see in the world

Techlore did a video on fitness tracking a couple years ago. I don’t know if it’s still up to date, but it’s a place to start your search.

This was in a VM, but I was running Ubuntu LTS to mess around with Nextcloud, maybe even save some data to it. I also installed Pihole and ran into an issue, so I uninstalled it. Apparently, when you uninstall Pihole, it also gives you the option to uninstall important system packages like ipconfig. Borked my install. I was freaking pissed.

Have to throw CK3 out as my personal favorite grand strategy game (though EU4 and the like are other options). There's nigh infinite content in weaving the story of your family and realm, and mods add a whole new layer to it.

Definitely was my first thought. I think that I've spent way more time on that game than I'd like to admit.

Why We Sleep. This book genuinely had me start caring about sleep.

Seems interesting as a supplemental source of energy though.

Tossing Song of Syx onto the pile of games. Even if you don't care for the art style, the game is immensely deep, and quite frankly, addictive.

That's the big thing. Posting content consistently is key to the survival of communities like this one

I brush before eating. I cannot stand the taste of morning breath

It wasn’t that hard for me to flash a Chromebook with Linux using this guide

I’ve played a little bit of this game and it’s definitely enjoyable

The article says that they've been preparing for awhile, but they are now looking to start commercial service.

Waymo has had a small fleet of vehicles mapping the streets of LA since at least 2019, but it only began to make preparations for a commercial service in recent months. Aside from mapping, Waymo has been following its traditional playbook of deploying its vehicles in autonomous mode with a human safety driver behind the wheel before transitioning into a commercially available service.

This won't fix your app roulette problem, but you should be able to disable searching the web with the search bar in group policy

!crusaderkings@kbin.social and !grandstrategy@lemmy.ml. I really want some more activity for CK3 and grand strategy on Lemmy like there is on Reddit. Oh plus my daily mander.xyz shout out.

I also found something a little more indepth from Bloomberg here.

Maybe you'd like some other communities that aren't !asklemmy then? If you're looking for a specific ones to join or just want some of the top communities you should try the Lemmy Community Browser. Other than that all I can say is to be active wherever you are so that you can mold the experience in what you want it to be.

I've just started getting into photography. It's a whole lot of fun, but I have no idea how to post process...

Well there's always MAS...

I use a heavily stripped down version of Windows 10. I plan to move to FedoraKDE when 10 is sunsetted though

I have a friend who's name is Alexander. I call him Hamilton

If you don’t mind his particular style, the SsethTzeentach video is what convinced me to give it a fair shake. The in-game tutorial and tooltips are pretty good though, and will get you started. Overtime you’ll discover more and more systems. Oh and just so you know, the demo is the full game, but a version behind.
