Sorry, you can also earn Gems in ranked which you use to unlock heroes which are something like $25 each currently. Which is so much money. I miss when you bought a game for a flat fee and played it as much as you wanted to.

The one where the guys dead twin brother had the long-lost cousin who was married to the dude who murdered the brother, but we didn't find that out until he cheated with the sister of the other girl (played by the same actress) who was lost on the mountain after the plane crash.

This sounds like a successful efficiency study presented by a horror director.

I learned as a kid playing star craft that there are noobs and newbs. Newbs are people new to a game who need help learning. And a noob is someone who has played for a while and refuses to learn and would rather troll.

I had an argument with someone online recently where I advocated for removal of national boarders and they came back with, "what about bad people" to which I responded, who are the bad people? And if I consider you a bad person would you be alright being kicked out of your country and not allowed to return. We spoke for about 3 hours and my whole argument was that if he considered rapists (they said rapists and murderers were bad people) fit to be prevented from entering his country would they willingly leave if their wife accused them of rape.

They just couldn't allow themselves to follow through with the thought, it simply stopped with, "I'm a good person" and even when asked if they received consent before sexual acts they said,"no, but I'm not a rapist, I'm a good person"

They love laws like this, because in their minds, they could 100% NEVER be applied to them.

Yup, that is the goal. Juuuuust short of desperate. That is where we are aiming for most of our population to live.

America still has child labor, all child labor laws exclude agricultural work. Slavery never ended, it's just prisoners and illegal migrants now.

The ONLY way we get closer to solving them was by educating our populace about the dangers of authoritarianism in the wake of the world wars. And coming to terms as a nation how much the Nazi regime learned from America and our concentration camps that we don't teach nearly enough about.

But that ship kind of sailed and we now live in a country where some obscenely high percent of Americans don't even believe the holocaust happened at all.

In my opinion we are way past the solution being democrats, they hardly even stop the bleeding anymore. They are just there to show the masses that there are two parties and they didn't really want to pass all of this pro business, anti people legislation, but we had to because of the debt ceiling that we didn't even stop for long and the Republicans can beat us with it again in a few years.

The system is designed to be fucked.

"We need to simplify" indie games are doing just fine. It's almost like super massive studios take much more money to make games with less replay value.

And who expects cinematic masterpieces? Most gamers skip the cutscenes and all dialog lol

Studios make the games pretty for pre sale hype. Getting people interested without game play.

He purchased his companies from other people who had already developed the ideas. The only patent with Musks name on it for Tesla is the charging port that is proprietary so other electric vehicles couldn't use tesla charging stations.

"The right people" to suffer. They never wanted themselves, their neighbors, or even the poor people down the road to suffer. They want all tge bad people Fox News tells them about to suffer and the fucking democrats just refuse to make the Fox News anchors happy!

Stupid? No. We are all much more susceptible to propaganda than we think.

CEOs are obsessed with value derived free of all that messy human labor. It would make sense if they didn't still want the people they fired to pay money to talk to the robots.

And then they started the murdering.

And there are millions of people lining up for jobs that suck that LITTLE to work at. That is how our world functions. It chews people up and spits them out.

Funny how much we hear about it in the video game industry, but every school closure loses teachers. Every hospital lay off looses nurses. Every time capitalism grinds people into dust, those people are dust now.

Hire as many hitmen as I can to kill the wealthiest people. But we would have to keep doing it, and it wouldn't dissuade anyone from hording money...so?

There is a saying that if you have 9 people at a table and a nazi takes a seat you have ten nazis at a table. Inaction against damaging retoric is bad, but actively voting for it is worse. I know the whole nazi thing is very charged right now, but that isn't the point.

If you vote for a republican than you are voting for another person in congress to push the party line. They may not agree with stopping bills that are good for the environment, but if they want to get reelected than they will vote how the party wants when it really matters.

Any vote for a republican is a vote for general public life to be worse for everyone. Your taxes will go up, trump made sure his tax hikes would all hit during the Biden administration, that isn't an accident. And you will get less use out of your tax money with Republicans in charge. So what do you gain by voting for them?

I found this when I was in college too. I only ever asked a few questions and they were all closed as duplicates and never found why the answers from those threads solved anything closed to what I was asking. Lol

Yeah, but cancer is a litteral lump of living cells. It's an apt comparison.

And a sperm meeting an egg suddenly meaning life potential which is worth intervening in another's medical decision is such a weird line. Especially in this county obsessed with freedoms.

It feels like such an arbitrary line to draw and agree with. When did you start this belief?

Okay, I listen to a fair amount of history podcasts, so let's see what I can pull out of my head for fun:

There was Rainbow Man, who famously went to sports games across America, holding up a sign that read "John 3:16" in an attempt to convert people to Christianity. He later died in a hotel shoot out where he took a maid hostage in his hotel room full of guns.

There was the time the President of America secretly went on a trip to Panama on one of two ships. While trying to show off to the president doing drills, the other ship accidentally shot a torpedo at the presidents ship. He pulled a pistol and attempted to shoot the torpedo with it.

The settlement at Roanoke, which was one of the earliest attempts by Europeans to settle in America and by the time ships got back with supplies (I believe years after they said they would be back) the settlement was empty. Still unsolved to this day.

America has dropped at least two nuclear warheads on itself accidentally, which have all failed to detonate.

Benedict Arnold was one of the best military minds ever born in America. He paid for his own troops for years, and when he asked for repayment or even his own salary, the Republicans claimed he actually owed the government money. They gave him tje reputation of only caring about money and refused to ever pay him until he finally took money from Britan to make ends meet.

George Bush senior crashed into German electrical lines and flew the plane back to base causing an international incident. He never received punishment for this and continued to fly for the military. He also did a bunch of drug smuggling and no one cared.

Look into pretty much any time people wanted to explore an area for the first time and there was most likely a massive loss of life and money. Australia and America seem to have the funniest stories of people's attempts to name every river and mountain they see.

That's what I got off the top of my head. :)

The people in charge, may have, accidentally, through no fault of their own, kind of, a little bit, totally ignored history and became doomed to repeat it, a little bit, on accident.

In other news, if you are too smart no one will ever have sex with you again, more at 11.

What do you call living your whole life with a binder on, going by your chosen male name, and wishing to die over having a doctor give them a look over?

4 more...

I'm sorry, why can't it be used as birth control? Why can't a medical procedure between a doctor and patient be done to better the life of the patient?

This whole anti abortion thing started with one guy in America forever ago and has spread from there. But before his crusade against abortions not many people felt one way or another about them. This seems to me like a group of people advocating making any cancer removal illegal.

"Let's talk about how Trump is the primary nominee, and he raped a woman and threatens everyone. "

Go for it, make another thread about how dumb it is to vote for Trump. You can do that. People do it all the time. We are talking about a different person in a different party.

"There's literally no reason that Biden can't be a good leader. He's demonstrated it over the past few years. And it's normal for the current president to be given a second shot."

Not representing a majority in policy and having a super low approval rating isn't a reason he can't be a good leader? Is there any reason my neice can't be a good leader? Also, it is not normal for the president to be this old. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_presidents_of_the_United_States_by_age The president should be between 45 years old and 65 years old.

"The only real objection most people could arguably make for Biden is regarding Israel"

This is a wild take. The only possible reason that is REAL is this one issue!

court takes away bodily autonomy from 51% of the population

government does nothing to pass a law to fix it after Biden campaigned on fixing it

"There is not a single reason anyone has to be mad at Biden!"

Bro.

There is zero percent chance this is real... right? RIGHT?

While the intent may be pure stupidity with no malice, that doesn't mean that it isn't pushed by social forces of class warfare.

$500,000,000? I would probably donate like 475m at least cause I'm not a fucking monster that would hoard the level of wealth. Then live more than comfortably off the money you get for having money until I die and pass that fountain of youth on to another family member.

And the other 499.5m?

When are the god damn scientists going to start listening to the public about what is really important?!?! Pfft

While it is easier to avoid the feelings of hunger you get when eating fewer meals, it is much better for you to train yourself to stop eating sooner. I've found the small bowl method to help train your body to tell you sooner that you are full, as well as shrink your stomach.

You take a small bowl and use that for three meals a day, eat what you want, but never serve yourself more than fits in the small bowl at a time and don't fill the bowl again for an hour after it's empty. Just my advice, but I've never taken estrogen, so also a huge grain of salt! <3

I'm not left or right! But I believe describes the left

Yes, that is accurate, they won't become a human baby. But neither will a pregnancy of a woman who can not afford to be pregnant. Studies show legal and illegal abortions happen at about the same rate, just not safey. Usually when abortions are legal for a bit the rate of abortions actually drops more than when illegal for a time.

Edit: a source for abortion rates and legality: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/how-the-u-s-compares-with-the-rest-of-the-world-on-abortion-rights
Though because of the nature of this debate you can find very convincing studies that find tge exact opposite from all over tge internet. Figured PBS would be a mostly trusted source.

Also fun fact time: a clump of cancer cells turned out to be one of the biggest medical discoveries of this Era of medicine. If you wanna know more about what happened to Henrietta Lacks: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/henriettalacks/

Oh interesting!

I immediately read that as:
Big companies - "hell yeah we will steal from people"
Normal people/sm business owners - "no thank you, we don't want to steal, or be stolen from"

That matches current statistics already since something like 75% of theft is wage theft in America.

Dedication. In a world where not doing things is vastly easier than doing things, the fact that they would do anything is frankly, a marvel.

Honestly, I'm not sure if you are making a joke about how a monarchy can't be democratic. Or if this is a comment about him legit "deserving" to be president more.

The real question is if black water guys would actually protect a black man with their lives against rural white people.

They'll just give ot away in the next debt ceiling "debate" so what's the point of electing dems? It is hardly sending a rebuke to congress to elect one of the two parties. I would rather vote for an actual leftist that loses and causes the dems to lose too than vote for a dem and barley win. We don't advance voting in dems that don't represent us, but just represent Republicans not winning. Cia would kill them, but such is life.

Understood. They were trans in the modern sense of the word. Ran away from home, took on a man's name and learned a "man's" trade to support himself. They didn't have the word trans back then, but no one other than his wife knew the truth until he died. But the word trans didn't exist back then. And there was no positive term for it until modern history.

Sorry to jump at ya.
