I used to order meals sometimes through these kinds of delivery services but not anymore.

At first they were quite good but then they added extra "service fees" and the markup on the food increased, so did the delivery charge, it's a joke now and I haven't used them for a long time, and there's no good reason to, now.

I dislike NFTs as much as the next person but this is messed up. Even worse that it isn't the first time. And how the heck did they get their hands on germicidal UV lamps without being aware of the difference, and the safety concerns?

It's 4chan, of course it's full of lies...

The regular Tesla cars have inconsistent panel gaps already, I feel this is a production issue, not a material issue.

If you buy a "smart" washing machine and actually connect it to the internet, you deserve what you get.

The answer is simple, stop buying new printers that do this, keep your old one or buy a used one. Hurt them in their profits.

This guy seriously has the mentality of a three year old.

Linux is the way. Microsoft will never stop making Windows worse.

Yeah, no, I'll never spend money on anything HP ever again. JKR can go and kick rocks.

Actually, no. Windows viruses can work well in wine. You still have to be careful in that regard.

Is anyone still using CCleaner? I gave up on it years ago when it turned into bloated junk.

The real version is on F-Droid

Given how deranged things like AI Dungeon are, I can't see this going well.

And they think AI will be any safer?

Black Mirror? That's the only show I had to stop watching for my sanity, and I like some pretty dark stuff.

4GB? More like 400GB...

I dunno, a patina can look quite good though, if you like that aesthetic.

As others have said, there's going to be some registry setting you can change to negate this. Short term, this should work, but may need to be repeated if any updates revert the change.

The long term solution is to just stop using Windows, because it's clear Microsoft is intent on turning it into a bloated, ad-infested piece of trash.

Windows 7 (or arguably XP) was the last decent version of Windows, in my opinion. Once I saw what was coming next, I started dabbling in Linux. Now I use Linux most of the time. It's definitely a big change, and there's a lot of new stuff to learn, but I love having an operating system that doesn't look like a corporate junk mailer pamphlet.

What's your definition of a "real job"? Do you think content creators just make videos without any effort?

Yeah but the old guy will die of old age before it gets bad enough to actually affect him, so he doesn't care

I thought it was just me. I swear the version of Swype that came with an ancient Motorola running Android 4 worked better than the version I use now.

But Microsoft don't want you to block ads either, so they'd never do that anyway.

No, I like old cars too for the same reasons

I was already using Linux a lot of the time when Windows 7 was out, and seeing Microsoft push ads in the start menu, as well as all the other trash and pointless changes that they included with Windows 8+ just confirmed my decision to leave the Windows ecosystem.

Plenty of phones with a removable battery are slim.

I never switched from Firefox. Why anyone used Chrome in the first place is beyond me.

Beat me to it!
